Milo Ventimiglia has other "Heroes" he wants to play. He told us about wishing he could be Nightwing before, and now he reveals that he actually auditioned for "Justice League," although he was a little coy about exactly which part.
"You look at how they did 'The Hulk,' with Robert Downey, Jr., as Tony Stark in there," Ventimiglia said. "It's very thought out, the cross-breeding. So when 'Justice League' came up, I thought, 'I'm in. Whatever it is.'"
We suspect that the part was Batman -- simple because Ventimiglia got most excited talking about "The Dark Knight" and what could be in the next installment of that series. "I love a lot of that because he's a normal man," he said. "He didn't come from Krypton and have every ability except one weakness. Batman had to apply himself physically and intellectually to do what he's doing. He's not a crazy f---ing bat."
And Ventimiglia would be more than willing to apply himself physically and intellectually, should Christopher Nolan and company want him to play a villain for the next round. "Oh, man, that would be rad," he said. "I could be the Riddler. I could put on some weight and be the Penguin."
Though he didn't make it into the League -- because of a schedule conflict with "Heroes" -- Ventimiglia didn't mind. "I don't need to be in every movie," he said. But he had to admit it was pretty cool to be a part of it, or even just be in consideration to be a part of it, for a moment.
"I was stoked," Ventimiglia said. "I had heard Adam Brody was going to be the Flash, and I've known him since we were both grunts together, and it's really cool when you see friends of yours in roles along with the ones you looked at."
But when the time comes to see "The Avengers" or "Justice League," Ventimiglia imagines he would be right there in the theater, watching it with a tub of popcorn like anybody else. "Would it be cool to be in one of those movies? Absolutely," he said. "Is it at all a possibility? I would say it's an improbability."
