There's been quite a bit of debate as to whether or not Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" was a thinly-veiled commentary on U.S. politics -- namely, that the Caped Crusader is a parallel to President Bush (a one-man vigilante who eschews laws for morals, is into wiretapping, and, shall we say, painful interrogation techniques?). However, in a recent interview with "Dark Knight" star Aaron Eckhart (who played definitely dead villain, Two-Face), that wasn't the director's intentions at all.
