No stranger to the comics scene and the films it has inspired, Rosario Dawson told MTV News that despite being a fan herself, the "Sin City" actress knows better than to jump into just any part pulled from the pages of a comic.
"You've seen a lot of comic films be made really well and then some of them not made so well," said Dawson. "So even if it's a great character that they're making, it doesn't mean the script is so great."
But what sort of comics film does she want to do?
"I just did a voice in the 'Wonder Woman' animated film that's going to be coming out," Dawson told MTV, adding that along with developing a film based on her own series, "O.C.T.", she would "love to work with Frank [Miller] again or Robert [Rodriguez] and finish 'Sin City II.'"
Even so, the geek-savvy Dawson said that these days, there's a battle she's more interested in than anything found in comics -- the upcoming national election.
"I'm not even thinking about acting right now," explained Dawson. "I'm not going to be working for the next couple of months. I'm just sort of working on my voting organization and writing a PSA for that right now."
"This election has gripped all of our attention," she added, "but definitely mine."
