It seems like photos from the Toronto set of "Kick-Ass", the big-screen adaptation of Mark Millar's ultraviolent series, have been popping up around the grid with some frequency lately. This time around, someone has posted a set of pictures showing off two cars used in "Kick-Ass" production.
One set of images centers on the smashed taxi seen in the opening of both the first issue of the comic and possibly the film. The before-and-after shots reveal the system of pulleys used to dent the car when -- if the film holds true to the comic -- a costumed character falls out of the sky and onto the vehicle's roof. In the images, the license plate of the taxi reads "Kick-Ass."
The second set of images reveals a tricked-out car that, according to the photographer's comments, is the ride used by actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse's character, The Red Mist. We've posted one of the photos after the jump.
"It has a supercharged Saleen motor that puts out 630 Hp," wrote the photographer, "and WAY too many other mods than can be discussed. It is TRULY a one of a kind car."

What do you think about this peek under the hood of "Kick-Ass", readers? Does adherence to the comic's opening scene bode well for the film?
