As we noted last month, fans of Greg Rucka and Steve Lieber's groundbreaking comic series, "Whiteout," who had been patiently waiting for any news regarding the long overdue film adaptation were rewarded for their dedication when Dark Castle released the official international teaser poster. And over the weekend, Warner Bros. gave "Whiteout" fans even more to get excited over, releasing a series of new promo shots from the true crime thriller.

For those of you who need remindin', "Whiteout" stars Kate Beckinsale as U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko, assigned to Antarctica to investigate the continent’s first murder. However, with a brutal winter season only three days away, Stetko must solve the brutal crime before Antarctica is plunged into darkness and she is stranded with the killer. The film is set to hit theaters on September 11, 2009.
