As the live-action "Wonder Woman" feature film snoozes in development limbo, fans of DC's resident Amazonian warrior princess at least have this March's "Wonder Woman" animated feature film to look forward to. And in regards to that, Warner Bros. Animation have been more than willing to share info on the upcoming direct-to-DVD & Blu-ray addition to their already impressive line of animated features based on classic DC stories.
Today, we're treated to a double-dip of "Wonder Woman" animated goodness, as Warner Bros. have released four new production stills from the feature (check out one of 'em below), and IESB.com has an extensive interview with "Wonder Woman" screenwriter, Michael Jelenic.

After the jump, we've got the rest of the stills and some choice quotes from Jelenic on what fans can look forward to in Wonder Woman's first full-length feature film.

"Ultimately, we wanted to explore her journey of discovery," said Jelenic to IESB.com in regards to the script. "She's been raised to believe that women don't need men, that women are morally better. If there is a message to the film, it's basically that men and women are not perfect. Men have their problems. Women have their problems. And when they interact, these problems often grow. But at the end of the day, men and women are actually stronger and better when they work together to overcome these problems."

In terms of the relationship between Wonder Woman and her male counterpart, Steve Trevor, Jelenic said, "I really enjoyed an opportunity to tell a story that is sort of a romantic comedy mixed with '300.' That's what 'Wonder Woman' really is -- a very simple sort of love story that's frequently comedic, primarily in the pairing of these two key characters, set against a backdrop of so much violence and action."
