We've long been saying that they're two of the most highly-anticipated films coming out this year, and apparently, Entertainment Weekly is agreeing with us that 2009 will be the year of "Watchmen" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
And while your ever-faithful Splash Page team has been all over these films -- from the latest updates from the cast and crew of "Wolverine," to pesky lawsuit involving "Watchmen" -- two brand-spankin'-new images from the flicks that every geek is looking forward to this year made their online debut today. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," starring Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds hits theaters on May 1, 2009. "Watchmen" -- barring any legal action -- will hit theaters on March 6, 2009.
