Jamie KingActress Jamie King appears to have confirmed last year’s reports that Frank Miller has turned in his script for “Sin City 2” and the film may even begin shooting in 2009. The “Fanboys” and “The Spirit” actress hopes for a start date soon and said that she doesn’t have any nude scenes in Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s sequel, according to George “El Guapo” Rousch at Latino Review.

The report stokes a prolonged trickle of “Sin City 2” rumors from the past year, as good a sign as any that Miller’s classic Dark Horse Comics series is inching closer to becoming a reality behind the scenes. Read More...

Neil Patrick HarrisIf there was one moment of brilliance that came out of the writer’s strike, surely it was the Joss Whedon musical, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-Long Blog.” Life seems a little bit brighter now that we’ve heard Nathan Fillion’s singing voice, discovered the existence of Bad Horse and his Evil League of Evil, and discovered how a mere bad guy becomes a super villain.

Fans of Dr. Horrible have been clamoring for a sequel since the first episode -- and given the sucker-punch of an ending, it seems wide open for one. When MTV News caught up with Dr. Horrible himself, Neil Patrick Harris, we asked if there was any chance that he would be returning in another installment.

“No, I wish," he told MTV. "Everyone asks me for scoops. We just worked on the DVD. It has its own unique commentary musical that I think is kick-ass. But otherwise there's no future with it at the moment." Read More...

Heath Ledger as The Joker in 'The Dark Knight'FROM MTV.COM: In what many think could be a foreshadowing of the Oscars, one of the first major movie acting prizes of Sunday night's Golden Globes went posthumously to Heath Ledger for his harrowing work as the Joker in "The Dark Knight."

Ledger, who died last January of an accidental overdose of prescription medication, triumphed over a field of Hollywood legends in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture category, besting such top billers as Tom Cruise, Robert Downey Jr., Ralph Fiennes and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Taking the stage as the star-studded audience rose to their feet, somber "Dark Knight" director Chris Nolan accepted on Ledger's behalf. "All of us who worked with Heath on 'The Dark Knight' accept this with an awful mixture of sadness but incredible pride," Nolan said with a drawn look on his face.

In the past, Aaron Eckhart has had no problems stating matter-of-factly that Two-Face was done for, telling SuperHeroHype back in September that his character was as "dead as a doornail." Well...maybe not that dead.

When MTV News caught up with "The Dark Knight" star on the Golden Globes red carpet, he was notably less fatalistic about the possibility of reprising his role as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in a sequel to the record-breaking film.

"I think Harvey -- if he's not dead -- is in a serious coma," stated Eckhart, "and I'm not sure he's coming out. They might pull the plug on him." Seemingly firm words, right? Except even the notion that his alter-ego is still alive is a clear departure from previous statements where the actor was perfectly fine confirming Harvey's death at the business end of a freefalling drop. Eva LongoriaDuring the run-up to tonight's Golden Globes ceremony, E! Online's Ryan Seacrest earned some geek cred when he cornered actress Eva Longoria on the event's red carpet to ask about the rumor that she's in the running for a role in Marvel's much-anticipated superhero team-up film, "The Avengers."

While photos of Longoria leaving Marvel Studios HQ with a stack of "Avengers" stories last year sparked speculation that she was researching a role in the film -- with most guesses casting her as original Avengers team member Wasp -- Longoria told Seacrest that the rumor was "not true." However, Longoria said she'd love to play a role in "The Avengers" if the opportunity presented itself. Read More...

'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' Video GameIt's been a month since we last heard anything about the video game based on the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie, but we finally have an update -- in the form of a new, official website for the game.

Game developer Activision launched the new website this week at Uncaged.com, and while it still sports a "Full Site Coming Soon" tag, there's a lot to like about what's currently available on the site. Foremost among the features on the new website is a "360 Screenshot" that allows users to rotate their viewpoint around a digitized version of Logan with claws bared, in mid-leap from a jungle ridge to a nearby airborne helicopter. I've posted a still image of the shot after the jump, but you can head over to Uncaged.com for the full 360-degree experience.

And that's not the only material from the "Wolverine" game recently made available to the online masses, either. Read More...

Danny BoyleFROM MOVIES BLOG: Slumdog Millionaire” director Danny Boyle may not like superhero movies, but that hasn’t stopped his production company DNA Films from picking up the rights to a new “Judge Dredd” installment. Asked about his personal involvement, the Academy Award buzz-maker played it coy.

“Someone asked me about Judge Dredd the other day!” Boyle told Empire. “I hated the last version of it; I can't imagine the next one will be any better.”

Those strong words don’t bode well for rumors that Boyle could be in line to direct DNA’s new film, which has already seen "Judge Dredd" concept art from comics artist Jock hitting the 'Net.
