These days, in order to make a good comic book flick, it seems like part of the recipe for success needs to be a some behind-the-scenes drama. And now it looks as though "Astro Boy," the CGI feature film based on Osamu Tezuka's most famous creation, is joining that infamous list of problematic productions. According to a post on FirstShowing.net, the animation studio behind "Astro Boy," Imagi International, is quickly running out of money and may be shutting down operations indefinitely, with their unnamed source adding that employees were recently told not to show up to the office at the start of the work week.
