Actor Breckin Meyer has certainly lived a charmed life in terms of all-things geek -- between his writing duties on ["Adult Swim" series] "Robot Chicken" and a cameo spot on "Heroes" with his buddy Seth Green, it's safe to say Meyer has some legitimate "nerd cred."
And if a Production Weekly post on Twitter can be believed, it looks as though Meyer will be taking what's he's learned from his time on the Comic Con circuit to the big screen, as the veteran actor is apparently making the jump to screenwriting, taking on writing chores for "Superguys." The film -- based on a story by Harry Elfont and Deb Kaplan (the team behind "Can't Hardly Wait") -- is being described as "'Ocean’s 11' with idiots set at Comic-Con."
Very little else is being reported about the project, but from the sounds of things, it looks as though "Superguys" will be the latest in an emerging genre of geek-humor, and hopefully will be to comic conventions what "Fanboys" is to "Star Wars." Stay tuned to Splash Page for more on this as it develops.
