After months of being hit with a barrage of movie stills, behind-the-scenes featurettes and some bar-raising viral content, you'd think the marketing juggernaut behind "Watchmen" would've fizzled out on the "cool factor" by now -- but apparently, Warner Bros. have decided to save some of the best for last.
For starters, fans can check out an all new viral site at Watchmen: 6 Minutes to Midnight.com, where you're greeted -- personally, we might add -- by a familiar face and taken on a quick tour (and some twisted psychoanalysis) of the Minutemen.
But wait, there's more!
In case you were one of the three people watching NBC's airing of "National Treasure" last night, then you caught the first of NBC's series of "Watchmen" character montages. However, if you're like the rest of us and missed, fret not, because the network has jumped on the "Watchmen" craze with their own mini-site which promises to be updated as we get ever so closer to this Friday's wide-release.
Meanwhile, if today has been any indication, we can only guess that we're gonna be treated to even more "Watchmen" goodness as the week goes on, so be sure to keep it locked to MTV Splash Page for the latest on the upcoming, ridiculously-anticipated film.
What do you think of the latest "Watchmen" clips and sites? Let's hear it in the comments.
