"Iron Man 2" director Jon Favreau continued to keep fans appraised of the goings-on with the sequel to Marvel's 2008 blockbuster with a few Twitter posts today regarding the official kickoff of filming for the project.
"On my way to set. Not much sleep, as one could imagine. First day at camp. Very excited," posted Favreau early (very early, in fact) Monday morning. The celebrated director also posted a snapshot of a sign directing people to the set, along with a "No Cameras On Set Without Authorization Of Marvel Studios" warning (embedded after the jump).
While actor Robert Downey Jr. recently offered up some details about the "Iron Man 2" plot (or rather, what the film's story wouldn't include) , Favreau has been providing fans a steady stream of updates regarding the film that included a "Geek Tour" of the "Iron Man 2" office and some photos of the cast getting prepped for filming. What remains to be seen, however, is whether Favreau will be able to keep up his prolific Twittering now that filming is underway.
"Iron Man 2" is scheduled to hit theaters May 7, 2010.
