It's been a day full of exclusive content, with your first look at IDW's new "Angel" cover featuring Drusilla, more footage from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and now, courtesy of Viz Pictures and our pals over at MTV Iggy, the first 10 minutes of "Death Note: L, Change The World" -- the latest film based on the popular "Death Note" anime/manga series.
In case you're not up to speed with "Death Note," the saga chronicles the cat-and-mouse pursuit of a brilliant killer empowered by a "death god" to snuff out the lives of anyone whose name he knows -- and the bizarre, yet equally cunning figure tasked with bringing the murderer to justice.
"Death Note: L" is the third live-action film based on the series, following on the heels of prior films' tremendous success overseas and impressive box office tallies during limited release here in the U.S. MTV Iggy also a ton of images, interviews and assorted coverage of all things "Death Note" -- including a few images from the earlier "Death Note" films that I had to post after the jump.
In the picture below, the brilliant student named Light, who holds the power to kill with just a name, is flanked by the death god assisting him, Ryuuku, while he confronts another death god, Rem:

In this image, the teen pop sensation Misa Misa, holds out the the "Death Note" that also gives her the power to kill with a name, while Rem looks on:

"Death Note: L, Change The World" hits U.S. theaters April 29 in limited locations.
