Thus far, production of "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" has been incredibly well documented with behind-the-scenes photos that blend elements of reality and illustration. But as enjoyably creative as the obscured images are, fans are starting to jones for a better look at the project.
Seems that director Edgar Wright got the memo, as he posted three new pictures from the upcoming Oni Press adaptation on his website yesterday. The photos reveal our first clear look at Scott's musical rivals, the deadly Clash at Demonhead, as merchandising for their newest album hits record stores in the film.

Leading the band and taking center stage in the photo is Envy Adams, Scott's musically inclined ex-girlfriend. Played by Brie Larson in the film, Envy's currently dating Todd Ingram, the bassist pictured at right. Todd, a telepathic vegan, is the third of several evil ex-boyfriends of Ramona Flowers, and Scott will have to defeat him in order to win Ramona's affections.
You might not know it based on the image, but the blonde Todd is actually Brandon Routh of "Superman Returns" and "Dead of Night" fame -- even though he looks a lot more like Bruno in this film.
While we've previously seen an obscured glimpse at the nefarious musicians, the three photos -- the rest of which can be viewed on Wright's website -- provide the first clear look at the members of Demonhead. Even if it is a photograph of a photograph, it's plainly clear that Wright is steering "Scott Pilgrim" in the right direction.
