It was week full of hellos and goodbyes around the world of comics crossovers, with a wide variety of stories putting up big numbers, but no big winner in the week's rankings. Here's how it all shook out:
- "Y: The Last Man" writer Brian K. Vaughan said goodbye to his "Lost" gig in a post that found its way into the top of the week's stories, and elicited a mixed response from readers.
- Actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse, better known as "McLovin" in the movie "Superbad," said hello to the world of costumed heroes in this exclusive image from the set of "Kick-Ass."
But that's not all we brought you this week...
- Want to know why Rainn Wilson and Nathan Fillion were meeting with DC Comics? Yeah, so do we!
- Looks like there will be a new "Superman" movie in production by 2011 -- much to Warner Bros and DC Comics' frustration.
- Our weekly poll caught fire when we asked readers which "Batman 3" rumor they wished were true. (You can still vote, by the way!)
- The top three contenders for the lead in "Green Lantern" were announced -- and if you haven't heard about 'em yet, they'll definitely surprise you!
- Hey, you hear about Deadpool? He's going to talk to the audience in his movie, just like in the comics.
- More from the "Green Lantern" front: Writer Marc Guggenheim weighed in on that Superman cameo rumor.
- Tony Stark digs race cars. But you already knew that, didn't you?
- The results from last week's poll came in, and "The Avengers" beat out "Iron Man 2" for the title of "Most-Anticipated Marvel Movie."
- And finally, we gave you our list of Five Villains We'd Like To See In "Spider-Man 4" -- but not all at once!
That's it for this week, folks! We'll be back Monday for more from the comics world.
