Just last week we received confirmation from "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn that Nicolas Cage and Chloe Moretz will indeed be wearing their costumes from the comic book, and also heard that the images of Moretz released thus far are not how her vigilante alter ego will look in the film. Now we have a description straight from Cage himself about his costume for the film -- and what you can expect to see when his character, Big Daddy, appears on screen.
"Yes, yes you will," Cage told MTV News when asked whether we'll see him in full-on costume during the film. "That's going to happen... the cape, the full shebang."
In town to promote his role as one of the voice actors in "G-Force," Cage said his "Kick-Ass" character won't be sporting the standard superhero look.
"[It's] not spandex, but more high-tech, military, commando-style apparel," he explained.
Given Vaughn's recent statement that "Kick-Ass" will likely receive an "R" rating, we also asked Cage about the level of violence in Vaughn's adaptation of the ultra-violent Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. series. According to the actor, he's not entirely certain what will end up in the final cut of the film.
"I haven't seen the movie, so I don't really know," he said. "I wasn't familiar with the comic book when I said yes to the movie, so who knows?"
