The comics tweets in my feed this morning were all about the artists, with a few bona fide all-stars showing up, including Todd McFarlane and Rob Liefeld, whose original artwork for the Image series "Mayhem" showed up in Tyrese Gibson's Twitterings. Greek artist Vasilis Lolos was also posting, dropping a few thoughts on the recently revealed "Wolverine" anime series.
"Goon" creator Eric Powell tweeted out a reminder about the upcoming anniversary of former "Flash" and "Fantastic Four" artist Mike Wieringo's unexpected death two years ago. A former convention circuit cornerstone, he'll likely be on the minds of many at Wizard's Chicago show this weekend, which I'm just going to assume caused most of the creators I follow to give up late-hour work tweets in favor of travel arrangements last night.
