Before she was a snarky, pregnant teenager in "Juno" or a roller derby star in "Whip It," actress Ellen Page was one of the X-Men.
Back in 2006, Page walked through walls as Kitty Pryde in "X-Men: The Last Stand." She famously fought the Juggernaut in the film's finale, but will she be back to play the fan-favorite character in the next installment of the X-film franchise? MTV News caught up with Page during a press event for "Whip It" to ask her whether she'll reprise her role in any of the upcoming X-Men films—like, for instance, "X-Men: First Class."
"I don't even know what it is, so I couldn't tell you," said Page.
While Page indicated that she hasn't heard a thing about the "First Class" film, which allegedly focuses on a younger team of X-Men making a name for themselves at Charles Xavier's school for "gifted" children, she did confess an affection for the character.
"I think Kitty Pryde's rad, so who knows what will happen," she said. "I have no idea, though."
Before any Internet rumors get started, however, Page was quick to add that her response should be taken at face value. She really hasn't heard anything.
"I'm not saying that as Internet innuendo," she laughed. "There's truly nothing happening."
