Prior to running the New York City Marathon this weekend in support of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, "Incredible Hulk" actor Edward Norton dropped by Splash Page HQ with one of the Maasai warriors who joined him on the run. While Norton had some lofty goals for the race—and the charity he's campaigning for—we had to slip in a question or two about another Norton project on our minds these days—namely, the future of the "Incredible Hulk" movie franchise.
"I will probably find out after you do," laughed Norton when we asked him if he'd heard anything new on the "Hulk" front. "Nothing new."
Norton went on to say that there was no update to offer when it came to Marvel's big-screen plans for the Green Goliath.
Last time we spoke to the actor, he said a potential return to the "Hulk" franchise was "purely a function of time," but added that he liked the idea of making the Hulk a villain in the superhero team-up movie "The Avengers."
Whether Marvel's listening, however, is something Norton can't weigh in on... yet.
"If you hear anything, then let me know," he said.
