The last 24 hours have been exciting for comics-related movie watchers on Twitter. Not only did some behind-the-scenes posts pop up from "Thor" and "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World," two of the biggest upcoming releases in the genre, but Rob Liefeld dropped an eye-opening bomb about his defunct "Badrock" film — which he says almost happened in 1996 with "Twilight Saga: New Moon" director Chris Weitz.
Aside from those tweets, there's also a pretty spectacular Terry Moore Spider-Man sketch waiting after the jump. Check that out, along with Tony Moore's answer to fanboy hate, Simon Pegg's thoughts on Scotty in "Star Trek" and a prediction for the English language from Jeffrey Rowland.

@BRIANMBENDIS Broadcasting live from marvel west. Thor movie meeting with Ken branagh was over the top amazing. Visited the sets! I was in Odin's chamber!
-Brian Michael Bendis, Writer ("New Avengers," "Ultimate Spider-Man")
"Badrock" pt 1: @robertliefeld Trying the Twilight saga for the 1st time tomorrow. Looks good. Little known fact, director Chris Weitz wrote unproduced BADROCK film 1996.
-Rob Liefeld, Writer/Artist ("X-Force," "Onslaught Reborn")
"Badrock" pt 2: @robertliefeld Chris Weitz and his bro Paul went on to direct American Pie, About a Boy and Chris directed The Golden Compass. Their BADROCK script rocked!
"Badrock" pt 3: @robertliefeld Ultimately, after re-writes, New Line felt the Badrock film, very much a Beavis/Butthead/South Parky take on a kid superhero was too $$$$
@edgarwright There is an amazing stunt in this fight scene we're editing that people will assume is not Mary Elizabeth Winstead. It is.
-Edgar Wright, Director ("Scott Pilgrim vs. The World")
@simonpegg Back to Trek, I love that Scotty shows up late. The film is about fate. About time healing itself. He's furthest away and yet he is found.
-Simon Pegg, Actor ("The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn," "Star Trek")
@TerryMoore http://twitpic.com/q2v6m - New sketch tonight. Parker left in a hurry and forgot something. Men.
-Terry Moore, Writer/Artist ("Strangers in Paradise," "Runaways")
@tonymoore Thanks for the love on Punisher, everyone. Rick and i are super proud of the work, so the sad fanboy hate-bullets don't faze us.
-Tony Moore, Artist ("Fear Agent," "The Walking Dead")
Parting Wisdom for the Day:
@wigu 100 years ago literate people talked classier than we do. In 100 years there will be phrases so dumb they will kill you.
-Jeffrey Rowland, Writer/Artist ("Overcompensating," "Wigu")
