Joe Quesada didn't dish on what went on, but he did tweet that he had an all-caps "AMAZING" meeting about the script for "The First Avenger: Captain America." Kevin Smith, meanwhile, just wants to see his film "A Couple of Dicks" make it to theaters, even with a title change. He posted a status update today with some details.
In other tweets, Andy Diggle reacted to Grant Morrison's newly announced "The Return of Bruce Wayne," Rob Liefeld loved the season finale of "Glee" and Jimmy Palmiotti threw out his thoughts on Tiger Woods. Check out those posts and more after the jump.
It's all in the Twitter Report for December 10, 2009.
@JoeQuesada Did I forget to mention an AMAZING Cap script meeting? Actually I did. I work here and these movies can't come out fast enough for me.
-Joe Quesada, Writer/Editor-in-Chief/Artist ("NYX," "The Ray")
@andydiggle I'd honestly be more interested in Grant Morrison's Caveman/Pirate/Cowboy/Gumshoe Batman stories if they didn't have Batman in them.
-Andy Diggle, Writer ("The Losers," "Hellblazer")
@ThatKevinSmith Via @jabbajuju "Have they announced new name of 'Couple of Dicks'?" Not yet, but trailer has new title on it. WB making sure title's theirs.
-Kevin Smith, Writer ("Batman: Cacophony," "Daredevil")
@robertliefeld Wow. GLEE is fantastic. The fall finale was perfect.
-Rob Liefeld, Writer/Artist ("X-Force," "Onslaught Reborn")
@jpalmiotti shouldnt one of the many women coming out about tiger woods affairs actually be embarrassed that they are having sex with a married man?
-Jimmy Palmiotti, Writer ("Jonah Hex," "Painkiller Jane")
@simonpegg Just received rather nice xmas pressies from http://bit.ly/73v7bV. Judge Dredd belt buckle and Strontium Dog badge. Nerd chic or what?!
-Simon Pegg, Actor ("The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn," "Star Trek")
@dresdencodak Even as a kid, I never considered anything about Princess Leia to be sexual. I just thought the bikini would be really cold.
-Aaron Diaz, Writer/Artist ("Dresden Codak")
@GuyDavisART a mistake pencilling a Marquis character sparked a whole new idea and made a scene stronger~ wish all mistakes had a happy ending like that!
-Guy Davis, Writer/Artist ("The Marquis," "B.P.R.D.")
Parting Wisdom for the Day:
@CBCebulski Usually, when you critique an artist, they listen & then go try harder. New writers? They spend more time arguing & complaining. Arrgghh!
-C.B. Cebulski, Writer ("X-Men Fairy Tales," "Wonderlost")
