We've made no secret of the fact that we'd love to see "500 Days of Summer" star Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a "Spider-Man" movie (even though he's a bit old to play a teenage Peter Parker). Now, with "500 Days" director Marc Webb rumored to be Sony's favorite contender for the "Spider-Man" reboot, the notion that Gordon-Levitt could actually become your friendly neighborhood webslinger is a real possibility.

So, when we caught up with Gordon-Levitt on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet, we had to ask: Has he had any meetings with Sony that we should know about?

"You and your movie gossip," laughed Gordon-Levitt. "It's a fun conversation to have with you...It's like a game of chess." Read More...

MTV News caught up with Webb on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet to get his thoughts on the rumors pegging him as Sony's most-wanted man behind the camera when Peter Parker returns to the big screen in 2012.

You can cross one name off the list of potential "Spider-Man" directors, because James Cameron isn't interested.

With this weekend's premiere of "Human Target" fast approaching, we've introduced you to the television series' three main characters over the last few days.

Mark Valley explained why the series' hero, Christopher Chance, is a little different than his comics counterpart, while Chi McBride found a colorful way to explain his character's role in the team. The third member of the team, however, should be a familiar face to comics fans: "Watchmen" actor Jackie Earle Haley, who plays Guerrero.

"Guerrero's not in the comic book, but he's this really cool supporting character to Chance," Haley told MTV News. "He's the go-to guy for information, so he's got some corporate expertise, but there's something a little unhinged about him, too. There's kind of a dangerous quality to this guy that we're going to be examining." Read More...

WatchmenAlbert and Allen Hughes' "The Book Of Eli" hits theaters today, but comics fans might recall that the "Menace II Society" directing duo got behind the camera back in 2001 for an adaptation of Alan Moore's graphic novel "From Hell."

Given the high profile of Zack Snyder's adaptation of "Watchmen" (also based on a Moore graphic novel — but you knew that already), we had to ask the brothers about their experience with Moore and how they felt about Snyder's take on the veteran comic creator's work.

"My brother had a conversation with Alan Moore back during 'From Hell,'" Albert told MTV News. "He said, 'You guys do your thing, I do my thing, and there's no need for us to mix it up.' And that's exactly how we saw it. We saw his thing as source material." Read More...

MarvelManHe doesn't know any details yet, but Stan Lee tweeted last night that he's confident his "Spider-Man" cameo will be secure despite Sony's franchise reboot. That's only slightly less than he knows about his "Thor" cameo, which he only knows will be "real cool."

On the other side of the country, Marvel's offices entertained Neil Gaiman this week, and Tom Brevoort posted that the writer unveiled his plans for the "Marvelman" series' conclusion. You can find that post after the jump along with Gaiman's pictures about town with John Cassaday and Art Spiegelman, Tony Millionaire's opinion of Jay Leno and Brad Meltzer's Kim Kardashian sighting.
