Over the last few months, we've heard from "Kick-Ass" cast mates Chloe Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Clark Duke and Mark Strong, but one person who we've heard very little from is Kick-Ass himself, Aaron Johnson.

In the film, Johnson plays high-schooler Dave Lizewski, a teenage comics fan who decides to try his hand at being a costumed vigilante, only to face some harsh realities about fighting crime. MTV News caught up with Johnson at the Sundance Film Festival to ask him about the film — specifically, whether he's spoken to director Matthew Vaughn or "Kick-Ass" comic co-creator Mark Millar about their plans for a sequel.

"We'll see, we'll see," said Johnson. "It would be great to do a sequel." Read More...

Iron Man 2Iron Man already has some powerful allies in War Machine and Nick Fury, but his latest compatriots bring a whole new meaning to "solid as a rock." Apparently, the Armored Avenger is teaming up with AC/DC.

Marvel Entertainment announced plans today to join forces with Columbia Records in featuring the music of AC/DC in "Iron Man 2," director Jon Favreau's upcoming sequel to Marvel Studios' 2008 film. Columbia Records will also release an album called "AC/DC: Iron Man 2" on Monday, April 19, containing 15 classic songs from the band selected from ten of their studio albums.

A new video for "Shoot To Thrill" also debuted online, integrating concert footage from a recent Buenos Aires show with scenes from "Iron Man 2." Read More...

The Walking DeadGiven the recent news that AMC has ordered a pilot for "The Walking Dead" based on Robert Kirkman's critically acclaimed Image Comics series, it was only a matter of time before somebody started talking about the plot details.

A review of Frank Darabont's script for the pilot episode has premiered online at Corona Coming Attractions, offering a detailed glimpse into the show's opening moments.

While it's always possible that the review is bogus, the fact that Kirkman himself linked to the article on his Twitter feed indicates that there's at least some truth to the review. Read More...

'Mass Effect: Redemption'A few weeks ago, I reviewed the first issue of Dark Horse's new series, "Mass Effect: Redemption," spun off from the popular BioWare-developed RPG video games. The opening of the planned ongoing storyline was great, filled with fan service and continuing the story of Commander Shepard as it was laid out in the first game. The series opens before the events of "Mass Effect 2," which hits stores next week.

I subsequently had the rare pleasure of interviewing Casey Hudson, project director on the "Mass Effect 2" team at BioWare. While our talk focused mostly on the coming game release, I managed to slip in a few questions about the Dark Horse series.

Hudson had some interesting things to say about the planned arc for these comics, as they'll extend beyond prequel territory and into the game's core story. Sort of. Read More...

Earlier today we told you about Samuel L. Jackson's new comic book series, "Cold Space," but now we get back to the projects that are foremost on comics fans' minds: the Marvel movies in which he plays S.H.I.E.L.D. head honcho Nick Fury.

Since he's listed as part of the official cast of "Thor," Kenneth Branagh's upcoming take on Marvel's god of thunder, we had to ask how his character will fit into the film. Will Fury drop by to recruit Thor for the Avengers like he did in "Iron Man"?

We'd love to tell you Jackson gave us the full scoop, but apparently he didn't know he was even in the film until he read the news. However, he did have some opinions to offer on Fury's relationship to Thor and how much of the character we'll see in Marvel's future movies. Read More...

Iron Man 2Paramount has released a new image from "Iron Man 2" featuring Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), looking as intense as ever, behind the wheel during what looks to be the Monaco Grand Prix scene.

If you've watched the "Iron Man 2" trailer, you know that this is likely to be the same scene in which Stark comes face-to-whip with Russian former criminal Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko (played by Mickey Rourke). And while his car takes the brunt of the attack, we'll need to wait until "Iron Man 2" hits theaters on May 7 to know how exactly Stark makes it out of the encounter.

Read on to see the larger image and the "Iron Man 2" trailer, and be sure to check out our full "Iron Man 2" image gallery here on MTV.com. Read More...

Sam JacksonSamuel L. Jackson will lose his Nick Fury eye patch when he appears in an upcoming comic announced by Boom Studios. Even if Jackson doesn't see action in "Iron Man 2" this year, his likeness is likely to see plenty of it in the new series, titled "Cold Space."

Along with lending his likeness to the book's main character, Jackson will collaborate on the series with his Emmy-winning "Afro Samurai" writer and producer Eric Calderon, which lists Jeremy Rock as its artist. The hardboiled sci-fi tale's solicit info reads a bit like Han Solo meets "Planet Hulk," focusing on an outlaw who crash-lands on a foreign planet and looks for a way to profit off of a civil war between two factions.

TwitterThe Vikings/Saints match-up in the NFL's NFC Championship Game last night is still creating a lot of chatter today, and it brought the sports fans in the comics industry to Twitter en masse. New Orleans backers, Brett Favre critics and others showed up with opinions, including Jon Favreau, Eric Powell and Frank Tieri.

Outside of the sports world, where many comics people feel more comfortable, there were a lot of geek tweets percolating. Jon Rosenberg named his pick to star as Khan in a "Star Trek" sequel, and Marc Bernardin checked out a trailer for "Mass Effect 2." Their linked-up commentary, along with a post from Neil Gaiman about his pet that may break your heart a little bit are listed after the jump.

This is the Twitter Report for January 25, 2010. Read More...

Too Cool To Be ForgottenWay back in June 2009, we brought you the exclusive news that Alex Robinson's graphic novel "Too Cool To Be Forgotten" was headed to the big screen with "Synecdoche, New York" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" producer Anthony Bregman attached to the adaptation.

The report was confirmed with the recent announcement that "Too Cool" publisher Top Shelf Productions entered an agreement with Bregman and media entrepreneur John S. Johnson giving the duo 33-percent ownership and the first look at all new Top Shelf projects for TV and film development. Their first project targeted for adaptation will be Robinson's tale of a middle-aged father who accidentally travels back in time to his teenage years, and must decide between reliving the mistakes of his awkward years or changing his future and erasing the life he knew.

I caught up with Bregman for a chat about his plans for "Too Cool To Be Forgotten" and more info about the Top Shelf deal. Read More...

Black PantherWhat is it about the musical intros to animated series lately? I loved the pop-punk of the "Spectacular Spider-Man" theme, and now Marvel Animation and BET's "Black Panther" offers up yet another intro tune I want to add to my music library.

The series is written and co-produced by Reginald Hudlin, and premiered this month on Australian children's channel ABC3. Djimon Hounsou voices Black Panther, king of the African nation of Wakanda.

Comics fans will certainly appreciate the John Romita Jr. art used in the intro (or at least, it sure looks like Romita's art) from the "Who Is the Black Panther?" story arc authored by Hudlin and Romita. Read More...
