Iron Man 2A trio of new images from "Iron Man 2" have arrived online featuring Marvel's armored Avenger, Whiplash, and Happy Hogan himself.

The new stills debuted on Yahoo Movies, and while the shot of Iron Man looks to be pulled from the first trailer (seen at right), the other two images are brand new. We also got another peek at Iron Man's briefcase armor, attached to the wrist of Tony Stark's colleague Happy Hogan (as played by Favreau).

What else can we take from the new images? Well, it looks like Whiplash has been busy, that's for sure. Read More...

Twitter - BatmanOne week ago, if you would have asked me who the number one "Marmaduke" fan in comics is, I would never have guessed that Tony Moore was the answer. However, the caps lock on his keyboard could barely contain his reaction to news of the movie.

Meanwhile, it was a great day for artwork in the Twitter Report feed. Rob Liefeld posted a Batman sketch, an artist you should know named Yildiray Cinar posted a eye-popping Cloak and Dagger piece, and Rick Remender posted some concept work for a "Fear Agent" video game. Check 'em all out out after the jump along with an assessment of Buzz Aldrin's work on "Dancing With the Stars" and wisdom from Brian Michael Bendis that should be read before seeing "Clash of the Titans."

It's all in the Twitter Report for March 31st, 2010. Read More...

Felicia DayEven as the creator and star of the award-winning web series "The Guild," Felicia Day first appeared on the radar for many non-gaming geeks as the object of Neil Patrick Harris' affection in "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog." When I had the chance to chat with her about "The Guild" comic book series recently, I managed to fit in a few questions about Joss Whedon's upcoming sequel to "Dr. Horrible," too.

While her return for the "Dr. Horrible" sequel remains uncertain, Day shared some thoughts about the project and what it achieved, what she'd like to see in a sequel, and why the series' finale struck just the right chord.

"I can’t spoil anything, because I don’t know much more than Nathan [Fillion] or anyone else," laughed Day when asked what she'd heard about the "Dr. Horrible" sequel. "I’ve heard there’s a title. That's about it." Read More...

Iron Man 2A new poster for "Iron Man 2" will be available at WonderCon, which kicks off this weekend in San Francisco.

Black Widow gets solo treatment on the new poster, which features Scarlett Johansson's black-suited superspy, Natasha Romanoff, against a dark background. The posters (or rather, "mini-posters") will be available at Booth #242 during the show while supplies last — which isn't likely to be very long, so make it a priority when you hit the floor.

Just in case there was any remaining doubts, it looks like Black Widow will indeed have her trademark costume — complete with "stinger" bracelets — though the new image doesn't offer a better look at that curious patch on her shoulder. Read More...

The first season of "Human Target" on Fox continues tonight, and despite some chaotic scheduling early on, Christopher Chance appears to be back on television in a big way. Recent episodes had lead actor Mark Valley stepping into the ring as a prizefighter and brawling with a highly trained assassin, further establishing the series' impressive fight sequences as one of its trademark elements.

When Valley dropped by Splash Page HQ recently, we chatted a bit about the makings of the cool, close-quarters fight scenes... and how easily Christopher Chance could kill me with various items in the room.

"We knew early on that was going to be one of the set pieces of the show," Valley told MTV News. "We really wanted to make that unique." Read More...

SmallvilleEarlier this month, "Smallville" was renewed for a tenth season, thus ensuring that Tom Welling's future as Clark Kent on the CW Network is secure for at least another year. However, rumors have emerged that at least one other member of the main cast won't be so lucky.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "a major castmember" will be killed off in the ninth season finale. The article hints that the victim will be one of the following: Lois Lane (Erica Durance), Chloe Sullivan (Allison Mack), Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk), Perry White (Michael McKean), Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole), Oliver Queen (Justin Hartley), Tess Mercer (Cassidy Freeman) and Zod (Callum Blue).

The report also points out that Mack isn't under contract for next season and Freeman and Blue might be expendable once the current storyline wraps up. Lana Lang's inclusion on that list is also intriguing, as Kreuk left "Smallville" at the end of the seventh season, but returned for a few episodes in the eighth season. The article also seems to hint that Kreuk may return to the show once more. Read More...
