Team EdwardI don't know whether I'm "Team Edward" or "Team Jacob," but I do know I love these shirts.

Inspired by a November 2009 "Hijinks Ensue" webcomic, the shirts feature the "Team Edward" design well-known to "Twilight" fans, but instead of Edward Cullen's dreamy visage, they feature Admiral William Adama himself, Edward James Olmos. And I must have one.

"You can have your sparkling, fangless Twilight vampires. There's only one 'Edward' whose team I want to be on," reads the ad for the shirts, which today joined the offerings on the hub of all webcomics merch, TopatoCo. "Whether he's inspiring inner city kids, tracking down replicants or leading the Colonial Fleet to victory against the Cylons, EJO has always got your back. Shouldn't you return the favor?" The GuildTo be honest, it's a bit surprising that it's taken this long for "The Guild" creator and "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" actress Felicia Day to make her debut in the comics world. An eternally multitasking creator involved with an endless array of geek-friendly projects, Day somehow found time to write a three-issue comic based on her award-winning online series.

In my interview with Day last week, she described "The Guild" as an origin story of sorts for her character in the Web series, Cyd Sherman, a gamer who juggles drama in both her online and offline worlds while trying to level up in the biggest quest of all: life.

Published by Dark Horse Comics, "The Guild" features a story by Day and art by "Street Angel" creator Jim Rugg. The first issue hit shelves today. Read more...

Final Fantasy XIIIEpic conversations for the ages consumed the Twitter Report feed today, as Tony Harris and Ron Marz pondered what makes writers worthy of hate, P.J. Holden and Tony Lee discussed what makes creators "professionals" and Jamie McKelvie wondered if "Final Fantasy XIII" is actually an RPG.

If you're mind hasn't been blown by the time you've finished pondering these subjects yourself, check out out Ben Templesmith's connection to "The Pacific," who cleans up at TopCow "Halo" tournaments and how Mike Norton draws Tawky Tawny.

It's all retweeted after the jump in the Twitter Report for March 24th, 2010. Read more...

ThorWith production on director Kenneth Branagh’s “Thor” well underway, further details about the film continue to come from surprising sources. While no photographs of the film's costumes have been publicly released thus far, Deborah Ambrosino — one of the costume designers on "Thor" — has spoken out about the look of the film's clothing.

In a profile on Costume Designers Guild, Ambrosino stated that the costumes in "Thor" are "strangely enough, very theatrical. There is a lot of fantasy in the different worlds that Thor lives in."

"The characters that populate that world are fantastical but not superheroes, which is great," she explained. "There is a heightened realism."

Ambrosino also indicated that she is utilizing her metalsmithing experience in the creation of the armor and jewelry. Read more...

Will SmithBack in October, Sony officially announced plans to go forward with "Men in Black III" with "Tropic Thunder" screenwriter Etan Cohen. And while Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith are both expected to return to the blockbuster, comics-inspired franchise, reports have emerged that Smith is currently torn between "Men In Black III" at Sony and a film called "City That Sailed," which is set up at Fox.

According to Variety, "City that Sailed" would cast Smith as New York street magician who is unwillingly separated from his daughter when she moves to London. The young girl discovers magic candles that can make her wishes come true, which causes the island of Manhattan to break away from the continent and travel across the Atlantic Ocean to reunite the father and daughter.

The report indicates that Smith is currently deciding which of the two films will be his next project. Read more...

Michael RosenbaumLast Summer, it was announced that "Attack of The Show" co-host Olivia Munn would portray an unspecified character in "Iron Man 2." Munn later related how her improvisation skills on the set moved Robert Downey Jr. into leading a standing ovation for her.

And while it was a professional high point for Munn, audiences might not see her original scenes when the film is released in May.

During an interview with Complex Magazine, Munn revealed that her original part was cut from the film and that she was called back to the set to reshoot all of her scenes again. Read more...

One thing's for sure: if/when "Wanted 2" hits theaters, Angelina Jolie will not be taking a shot at rising from the dead.

MTV News caught up with "Wanted" co-creator Mark Millar at the South By Southwest Film Festival to get his thoughts on how the "Wanted 2" story and its fraternity of assassins will move forward without Jolie's character, and why the answer could lie in the introduction of other fraternities around the world.

"They killed off the most recognizable character, but I thought it was great to do that," Millar told MTV News. "It was so ballsy to kill off the one person you didn't expect to die." Read more...
