Apple's iPad managed to rebound as a topic of conversation in the comics industry this week, thanks to the outing of Marvel's own custom comic-viewing app. Off course, any news that breaks today does so under the specter of April Fool's Day, which did not go unnoticed, and I whole-heartedly support the stated opinion of writer Mike Oliveri, which has been retweeted below.
In other news, Jon Favreau went on the record to promise he'll do a commentary track for "Iron Man 2," which should please a great many fans. His pledge is documented below along with Ron Marz's wish for Tiger Woods and Jesse James and Mike Choi's promise if the Marvel app turns out to be a joke.
It's all in the Twitter Report for April 1st, 2010.
@Jon_Favreau Yes. I promise. RT @purple_spandex:Can we please have a commentary on the release of Iron Man 2? I was bummed there was none on Iron Man.

April Fool's Day pt. 4: @mikechoi If the Marvel App for the iPad turns out to be an April Fool's joke, I'm going to draw a penis on a random X-woman and call that a joke too.
-Mike Choi, Artist ("X-Force," "X23: Target X")
April Fool's Day pt. 5: @edgarwright I have not read the Scott Pilgrim books, but plan to as soon as the film is finished. Have been busy. Hear they are good.

@ronmarz How long before we get a reality show with all of Jesse James and Tiger's mistresses moved into a house together? "Mistress Mansion."

Parting Wisdom for the Day:
@andydiggle Damn, if I'd known about the Marvel iPad app, I wouldn't have re-upped my Marvel Digital subscription...
