Iron Man: Armored Adventures"Iron Man 2" arrives in theaters May 7, but if you just can't wait that long for a fix of Marvel's armored hero, Marvel Animation has you covered. The first season of "Iron Man: Armored Adventures" hits shelves on DVD a few days earlier on May 4, collecting all 26 episodes of the hit animated series.

Featuring a young Tony Stark, Jim Rhodes, and Pepper Potts battling villains using a variety of high-tech armor, "Armored Adventures" was a big hit on Nicktoons when it debuted last year, and well worth the praise it received. Now, thanks to the good folks at Marvel Animation and Vivendi Entertainment, we have your first look at some of the concept art from the series — including a shot of the animated version of Whiplash, offering a much different take on the character than Mickey Rourke's "Iron Man 2" version.

Check out the images below of Whiplash, Iron Man's Stealth Armor, Hulk, and Stark Tower, among others. Read more...

The InvisiblesBy Josh Wigler and Rick Marshall

There's no denying that comic books are often strange — some might even say trippy.

In honor of April 20th, the day when everyone seems to have mind-altering moments on the brain, it seemed fitting to take a look at some of our favorite characters from the comic book world who have experimented with hallucinogenic and psychedelic drugs. While we certainly don't advocate such activities, we can't help but celebrate these comic-book moments that have varied from hilariously far-out to dangerously past the brink of insanity.

Read on for four of our favorite psychedelic, surreal and otherwise trippy comics and story arcs. Read more...

Iron Man 2Back in January, Marvel Entertainment announced that a special AC/DC album would be released in support of "Iron Man 2," with several songs by the band slated to appear within the movie itself. And according to director Jon Favreau, the music of AC/DC is well suited for Tony Stark himself; leading the to the band's appearance within the film.

"He's Iron Man, he's Tony Stark, he's going to go a million miles an hour," Favreau explained to The Los Angeles Times. "So what do you expect this film to be and how can we take it past those expectations? When I was watching AC/DC with my wife and my son and they were playing 'Shoot to Thrill' at the Forum, I thought, 'You know this is how he should show up, right in the middle of this and take the armor off. That's the Tony Stark version of doing things."

"It was a big leap," added Favreau. "It was not a cheap thing to do. Whether you're blowing up a tank or landing in a rock concert, it's the same thing [for a visual-effects team], once he's moving around, he's moving around." Read more...

The Walking DeadLast August, when AMC announced that Frank Darabont would be adapting "The Walking Dead" into a TV series, one of the first questions fans wanted to know was whether the comic would be used as a guideline for the show or if the TV series would go off on it's own path.

According to Darabont, the TV series will feature a mix of original stories as well as closer adaptations of Robert Kirkman's epic zombie series, a relationship between the two projects that Kirkman hinted at in an interview with MTV News last year.

"We’re much more beholden to [Robert] Kirkman," related Darabont to FearNet. "Which is a comfortable place to be because he has blazed a fantastic trail for us to follow. We will take detours along that path — we will take steps off the trail — but always wind up veering back onto the trail that Robert provides for us, because it’s fantastic stuff." Read more...

Alan CummingAnother cast member has left the long-awaited "Spider-Man" musical.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Alan Cumming has pulled out of "Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark" due to his increased role on the CBS television series, "The Good Wife."

Cumming had been signed to portray Norman Osborn/Green Goblin for over a year before the production was hit by a series of high profile delays. Last month, Evan Rachel Wood — who was previously cast as Mary Jane Watson — also departed the troubled production due to a scheduling conflict. However, Reeve Carney is still attached play Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Read more...

Samuel L. JacksonWhile Samuel L. Jackson previously told us Nick Fury is unlikely to see action in "Iron Man 2," that doesn't mean the S.H.I.E.L.D. head honcho won't get his hands down dirty down the road in future Marvel movies like "The Avengers."

In fact, the actor told MTV News that his character will indeed be seeing some serious action in future installments of Marvel movies.

"Nick does boss people around," said Jackson at a press event for his new film "Mother and Child" with Naomi Watts and Annette Bening. "But every now and then, he does kill somebody." Read more...
