Every now and then I encounter an image that is so bizarre that the truth behind its existence can in no way live up to the possible scenarios surrounding its creation that I've developed in my mind.
Case in point: A painting posted over on BoingBoing today that depicts a group of superheroes praying. I can make out Captain America, Daredevil, Hulk, Thing, Spider-Man, Superman, and even Wolverine crowded in there and, well... I just had to share this one with you, folks. It's glorious in all the ways knockoff versions of popular superheroes should be.
As for whether the painting originated, the answer is bound to pop up in the comment thread over there — so keep an eye on it and let me know. If it's not as awesome as I'm imagining it to be, just go ahead and make something up. Surprise me!
