News regarding some of the big films at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego is hitting the 'Net faster than we can keep up with it these days. After getting our first good look at Thor, Odin, and Loki from, well... "Thor"... we also got our first look at Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern last week. And now, as if to one-up the "Green Lantern" team, another image from "Thor" has arrived online.
This time around, it's a wide shot of Odin's throne in Asgard, with Thor kneeling before the king of the Norse gods, flanked by Loki and Frigga on one side, and Hogun and Fandral on the other.

The image debuted in The L.A. Times this week, and along with giving us the first look at several more gods from Thor's universe, it also provides us with the first shot of Loki with his iconic horned helmet!
For those who aren't up on their "Thor" characters, here's who we see for the first time in the image:
Frigga (Rene Russo): The wife of Odin, she's the goddess of marriage and the mother of Thor. She's also the stepmother to Loki.
Hogun (Tadanobu Asano): One of the legendary Warriors Three, Hogun the Grim is also one of Thor's closest friends in Asgard.
Fandral (Josh Dallas): Another member of the Warriors Three, Fandral the Dashing is also a comrade to Thor.
Perhaps the most important element of the new image, however, is that it confirms we'll see Loki (Tom Hiddleston) wearing his familiar horned helmet — one of the elements absent from last week's image that bothered us immensely. Here's a blown-up version of that area of the image:

"Thor" is scheduled to hit theaters May 6, 2011.
