Okay, so this clip feels a little spoilery, so I won't be angry if you decide not to watch it before checking out "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" this weekend. However, if you're willing to throw caution to the wind, you can see Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and Roxy Richter (Mae Whitman) in the latest clip from Edgar Wright's upcoming film based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's hit comic book series.
Of course, if you want to check out more clips from "Scott Pilgrim" (or just skip this one entirely), you're in luck. We've posted a few of them already, with more to come! Read more...

"Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" hits theaters this week, and when it does, audiences will be treated to more than just a live-action adaptation of Bryan Lee O'Malley's popular comic book series — they'll also get some great music, too.
During this year's Comic-Con, I had a chance to sit down with two members of Sex Bob-Omb, Scott Pilgrim's band in the series, as well as the band's first-ever fan, to discuss the musical side of their "Scott Pilgrim" training.
In the film, Mark Webber and Alison Pill play bandmates Stephen Stills (vocals/guitar) and Kim Pine (drums), while Johnny Simmons plays Young Neil, the band's biggest (and at the start, only) fan. Read more...

I haven't decided how I feel about director Sohel Afgani Rana's "HALKa" movie trailer quite yet. On one hand, it's so full of surreal, so-bad-it's-good awesomeness that it's hard not to love it. On the other hand...
Okay, forget what I just wrote. I love it.
Due out sometime this year, the film apparently tells the story of a young man (possibly a scientist?) who is ridiculed (via an epic de-pantsing, among other tortures) in front of the woman he loves. this somehow unleashes the beast within him, and he's transformed into a rampaging, green-skinned behemoth.
Also, there's a kid on a bike that stops tanks. Read more...

Natalie Portman and Kat Dennings clearly have some chemistry, something that was on full display during their interview with Splash Page editor Rick Marshall at this year's Comic-Con. The two gleefully described their "Thor" characters of Jane Foster and Darcy "the gnome helper" (watch the video and you'll see what we mean), but they also had plenty of thoughts to share on the God of Thunder himself.
Portman and Dennings described their experience working with Chris Hemsworth, the bearded Australian actor starring as Thor in Kenneth Branagh's upcoming Marvel film. According to the actresses, their initial work with Hemsworth had the actor performing entirely in civilian clothes — and when he finally stepped out as Thor, the two of them were thunder-struck, to say the least. A girl named Jenny showed up on the Internet yesterday quitting her job on a white board after her boss called her a "HPOA," and Twitter's collective suspicions were immediately raised. Today, the whole hoax was outed with a follow-up post on theCHIVE, but Scott McCloud still loved it and considers the whole joke to be a success accomplished with comics.
Elsewhere, rumors about Robert Rodriguez and the Deadpool movie have been hot since Comic-Con ended. Rob Liefeld stated how he feels in no uncertain terms about Rodriguez last night on his account. Find out what he personally tweeted to Rodriguez after the jump, as well as how "Star Wars" may have been years ahead of the JetBlue flight attendant who bailed on the runway, and what it looks like when Alex Maleev draws Batman with his left hand.

Yesterday's "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" clip featured Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) telling Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) he must defeat her seven evil exes in order to keep dating. In today's clip, we get a look at what happens when Scott's roommate Wallace Wells (Kieran Culkin) tells him his latest relationship might not be as simple as usual.
"Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" hits theaters August 13.

Anyone's who's read Bryan Lee O'Malley's "Scott Pilgrim" comics or seen footage from "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," Edgar Wright's upcoming film based on the books, knows there's no shortage of epic brawls in the title character's tale.
So how did the cast train for the hyperkinetic kung-fu action of "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World"? Wright explained the "Scott Pilgrim" regimen to MTV News, and revealed the secret nickname given to lead actor Michael Cera: "Mikey the Push-Up King."
"I asked Quentin Tarantino about the prep they did for 'Kill Bill' and he said [we'd need] a minimum of eight weeks prep for the actors," said Wright. Read more...

When MTV hit up the Hollywood premiere of "Step-Up 3-D" last week, the last person we thought we’d run into was beloved “Battlestar Galactica” composer Bear McCreary. Talk about pleasant surprises! McCreary penned the music for the dance flick, which has several big, tribal-y drum numbers (A McCreary specialty! See: “Fight Night”) and even better, McCreary talked about his next project: scoring “The Walking Dead” for Frank Darabont and AMC.
"I’m doing a new series, ‘The Walking Dead’ with Frank Darabont,” said McCreary. (Never mind the shaky mic/squealing in the video, I may or may not have started jumping up and down at this bit of news). “I’ve been working on that today. It’s a lot of fun.” Read more...
