The final season of "Smallville" kicked off last week, and we brought you a preview of our own in the form of an interview with producers Brian Peterson and Kelly Souders. The pair promised a great many things from the long-running series' final arc, not the least of which was a satisfying end to the chapter of Superman's history they've created over the last nine seasons.
Now that Season 10 is rolling, The CW has released a preview of the next episode of "Smallville," titled "Shield." Narrated by Peterson, the episode preview offers a peek at what's to come for Clark Kent, Oliver Queen, Lois Lane, and the rest of the cast — including the return of Carter Hall, the winged Justice Society hero known as Hawkman.
Oh, and just in case you forgot about 'em, we received a few extra-early teasers for the episode back in August, including the revelation that both Hawkgirl and the assassin Deadshot will also figure into the story.
"Smallville"airs each Friday at 8 PM EST on The CW. Keep an eye on Splash Page throughout the season for more coverage of the final episodes of "Smallville."
