We've spent two "Iron Man" movies with Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, and we've already seen the Norse God of Thunder in the heat of battle thanks to the "Thor" trailer. But there's another essential ingredient in the recipe that is "The Avengers" that we've yet to see in action: Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, the super soldier known as Captain America.
The first official trailer for "Captain America: The First Avenger" has yet to mark its arrival, but that doesn't mean we're completely without footage from the star-spangled superhero's silver screen debut!
An incredibly brief (four seconds) teaser spot with footage from "Captain America" has premiered online courtesy of Entertainment Tonight. Check out the spot after the jump!
Don't say we didn't warn you: as we mentioned before, there's not a whole lot to see in the Entertainment Tonight teaser. But the program will be airing the entirety of their set visit segment at some point in the near future, and you can count on us to bring you the details — not to mention our own set visit report further down the line.
Still, no matter how brief the footage, it's interesting to watch Evans in motion as Rogers. The four-second video showcases the hero's Ultimates inspired costume, which is just one of the many brilliant iterations of Cap's suit you'll see in "The First Avenger."
Tell us what you think of the footage in the comments section and on Twitter!
