Naomi WattsNot so fast, Batman — your search for a new leading lady isn't quite over yet!

Earlier today, we reported on an alleged short list of actresses that are vying for lead roles in "The Dark Knight Rises," with names including Anne Hathaway, Charlotte Riley, Jessica Biel, Keira Knightley and Kate Mara. Absent from that list were "Casino Royale" actress Eva Green and the previously rumored Naomi Watts, both of whom aren't just in contention — according to one source, they've already won their roles.

In what they're calling a rumor with "some veracity," Collider reports that Green and Watts are locked-and-loaded to star in "The Dark Knight Rises" as Talia al Ghul and Vicki Vale, respectively. Read More...

The stars that are supposedly aligning for "The Dark Knight Rises" include Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway, Charlotte Riley, Jessica Biel and Kate Mara. But which one of them is going to win out? And, just as importantly, which one should land a role in Nolan's final Batman film?

It's been a little while since we've had anything big to report on the "Green Lantern" front, and from the sound of things, we might have to wait a little longer to hear what the cast thinks about the film.

At last night's red carpet for the National Board Of Review, MTV News managed to snag a few seconds with "Green Lantern" actress Blake Lively to find out how much of the film — if any of it — she's seen so far.

"I haven't seen anything," Lively told MTV News. "You'd think I'd have some pull, right?" Read More...

"The Green Hornet" has its official premiere this Friday, January 14, but the stars came out earlier this week to celebrate the film's Hollywood premiere.

Among those in attendance were "Green Hornet" stars Seth Rogen, Jay Chou, and Cameron Diaz, as well as a number of other familiar faces walking the red carpet. Oh, and after putting the film to the test on "Mythbusters," the cast of the hit Discovery Channel show turned up on the carpet, too.

Sebastian StanWe're mere months away from the premiere of "Captain America: The First Avenger," and while much of the early buzz focuses on Chris Evans' take on Marvel's star-spangled sentinel, there's also good reason to keep an eye on actor Sebastian Stan, who plays Cap's sidekick, James "Bucky" Barnes.

One of the most recognizable sidekick characters in comics, Bucky not only played a big role in Cap's early adventures, but also factored into some of the most celebrated Captain America stories of the modern age.

With his part in "Captain America" and turns in several other much-anticipated 2011 films, Stan was honored this year as one of MTV's 11 actors to watch in 2011. He recently spoke to MTV News about the "Captain America" casting process, filming the action sequences for the movie, and how he prepared for the role. Read More...

Lena HeadeyWhen Karl Urban suits up to play Judge Dredd in director Pete Travis' "Dredd," he'll be going up against the fiercest enemy the Terminators have ever known: Sarah Connor.

Well, not literally Sarah Connor, but the actress who played her on television. Judge Dredd Movie News (via Bleeding Cool) reports that "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" star Lena Headey is joining the cast of "Dredd" as the film's villain, Madeline Madrigal.

The scarred Madrigal, also known as Ma-Ma, is a gang leader who presides over the Peach Tree City Block in Mega City One. Bleeding Cool reports that nearly all of "Dredd" takes place in this location as part of "an extended action sequence not too dissimilar, I guess, to the Die Hard paradigm." Read More...
