Spirited AwayDid Olivia Munn save "Perfect Couples" for you last night on NBC? Well, she didn't work for everyone, but Mark Brooks spoke out in support of the show amid a few less flattering reviews in our feed, where Brandon Jerwa was by far the most brutal.

"Portlandia," meanwhile, earned high marks for accuracy from Jeff Parker, who didn't mention anything about missing Munn in the show's cast. Find out why down below, where the retweets of the day also include some "Spirited Away" artwork from David Hahn and a G.I. Joe warning from Christos Gage.

Black Panther comicAs “The Avengers” gains altitude, it’s hard not to wonder what team alumni might turn up in the film. In comic history, Black Panther once joined the Avengers’ ranks, remaining something of a satellite member as the team's roster changed over the years.

There are certainly many who would like to see T'Challa, a.k.a the Black Panther, join the ranks of Marvel heroes fleshed out on film, from Marvel Studio chief Kevin Feige to Stan Lee himself.

Those high-profile fans may not have long to wait, because according to the Hollywood Reporter, “Black Panther” is back in development at Marvel, complete with a scribe freshly charged with completing its screenplay. Read More...

Anne Hathaway - CatwomanIt was only a matter of time before yesterday's announcement that Anne Hathaway will join "The Dark Knight Rises" cast prompted a flood of photoshopped images featuring the "Devil Wears Prada" actress as Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman. And in the time since the news hit the wire, the photoshop-savvy masses haven't disappointed.

And while we definitely have a few favorites out there in the digital ether, we also have a few of our own to add to the mix.

Below you'll find a pair of images our own digital production crew assembled, featuring Hathaway as the feline-friendly burglar set to make her debut in Christopher Nolan's big-screen Batman franchise. Read More...

There's still no official word on when "The Walking Dead" will return to television, but that hasn't stopped us from wondering what's in store for Rick Grimes, his family, and their ragtag band of survivors when the hit series is back for its second season.

Before last weekend's Golden Globes award show, we snagged a few moments with the cast of the AMC television series to get an update on the Season Two outlook.

"They're waiting for Atlanta to get as hot as possible before they send us back down," laughed Sarah Wayne Callies when asked when filming is set to start on the new season. Read More...

It was many months ago that we got our first, albeit low-quality glimpse of Peter Sarsgaard as Green Lantern’s top-heavy telepathic villain, Hector Hammond.

Newly released is an official photo, seen here courtesy of HeyUGuys, featuring Hector pre-psychic transformation and looking rather melancholy.

During Comic Con 2010, Sarsgaard told MTV News that his cranium-enlarging mutation will progress gradually throughout the film. Read More...

Anne Hathaway CatwomanNow that Anne Hathaway has been confirmed as Catwoman's daytime alter-ego Selina Kyle for Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises," Twitter's nuclear opinion reactor has gone into full effect. Most of the posts in our feed seem to be warm to the idea, and Ed Brubaker is among those lauding Nolan's casting decision, so sit back and give her a chance if you're still on the fence.

Posts last night were not nearly as kind to "American Idol," however. Brian Lynch called for mercy, but by then it was already too late, as Gail Simone, Ryan Stegman, Ron Marz and others had already joined the heckling. Find out what they thought and who got their picture taken with Chaka Khan after the jump.

G.I. Joe CobraFor decades now, Hasbro's "G.I. Joe" brand has been one of the great cross-media success stories, with popular toy lines, television series, comic books, and even a recent, live-action, blockbuster film. While the stable of G.I. Joe characters has grown over the years, the basic formula has remained largely the same: G.I. Joe are the good guys, Cobra are the bad guys, and Cobra Commander is the baddest of the bad guys.

All that changes, however, with this week's issue of IDW Publishing's "G.I. Joe: Cobra" #12.

SPOILER WARNING: If you haven't read the issue yet (and plan to), you might want to check it out, find out what happens, and then come back for the rest of this story. After all, knowing is half the battle. Read More...
