I know I'm not alone in loving some of the great fan-made trailers and short films that have found their way online the last few years, so when a link to Gary Shore's "Wolverine Vs. The Hand" crossed my desk here at Splash Page HQ, I had to share it with you.
In the film (which you can watch below), Wolverine joins forces with a mysterious female partner — possibly Mariko Yashida — to slice and dice through a horde of Hand-clan ninja. The film features some amazing, original graphics that are animated and otherwise crafted into a narrative via some cool camera work.
Shore is a director and illustrator who clearly knows his way around Logan and his supporting cast.
While there's a lot to like about "Wolverine Vs. The Hand," it's also a great indication of what we can all hope for when Darren Aronofsky applies his signature style of moody, dark storytelling to "The Wolverine."
