The premiere of "X-Men: First Class" is just a few months away, and ever since the "X-Men: First Class" trailer hit the 'net, there's been a lot of buzz surrounding Matthew Vaughn's upcoming film about the famous mutant super team.
During this year's Academy Awards, MTV News caught up with "First Class" actress Jennifer Lawrence to find out how she's feeling now that she no longer has to spend her days in blue body paint, portraying the shape-shifting mutant Raven "Mystique" Darkholme.
"I don't think they'll get me back in that stuff," laughed Lawrence when asked if she planned to strip down and get painted up when it comes time for the "First Class" press rounds.
Previously, Lawrence explained why she felt it was important to keep her curves rather than slimming down for the role — a role that had her covered head-to-toe in dark blue body paint. Even so, she said her concerns about being too exposed eventually gave way to worries over whether she'd mess up the expert work of the painters.
"It was a really enjoyable shoot," she said. "The girls who did my makeup are my best friends in the world now."
"X-Men: First Class" hits theaters June 3, 2011.
