The two-time Academy Award winner revealed that the script is still not quite finished in an interview with E! Online.

"I talked to Chris last week because I said I hadn't gotten a script," Caine revealed. "And he said, 'I haven't finished it.' And [then] he said, 'I'll finish it in two weeks.'" Read More...

ThunderCatsWay back in July 2009, almost a full year before the new "ThunderCats" animated series was announced, some concept art hit the 'net from the scrapped "ThunderCats" movie that was originally intended to bring the characters form the beloved 1980s series to the big screen. Now, some test footage from the "ThunderCats" movie has also found its way online — and it offers our first, in-action look at the movie that might've been.

Posted over at Flixist, the footage shows Lion-O practicing with the Sword of Omens, only to be interrupted by the reptilian villain Slithe (who also sports a new look for the CGI film) and dropping the sword. After brawling a bit on the side of a canyon, Lion-O recovers the Sword of Omens and issues the familiar "Thunder... Thunder... ThunderCats... Ho!" call.

The film's new "ThunderCats" logo is then revealed, and when the action resumes, Lion-O is crouching over Slithe's unconscious body. Read More...

With the debut trailer for "X-Men: First Class" finally here, fans have finally gotten their first real glimpse at what director Matthew Vaughn is planning for his origin story of Marvel's beloved mutant super-team. Star Michael Fassbender, who plays Magneto, recently provided some commentary on the new "X-Men" trailer. Fassbender offered the commentary as part of the press rounds he's been doing lately for "Jane Eyre," and as you might imagine, he's been getting a lot of questions about the Magneto role.

Fassbender addressed the role formerly held by Ian McKellen in Bryan Singer's "X-Men" movies and his connection to it in a recent interview with SuperHeroHype.

"I haven't based it on [McKellen] at all actually, and I hope the fans aren't going to be disappointed by that, because I know he's rated as [a favorite] comic villain," he revealed. "I just tried to steep myself in the source material, the comic books, and there's so much. He's such a fascinating guy, and how he becomes Magneto is a really interesting journey." Read More...

Late last week, we told you about a report that former "Smallville" star Michael Rosenbaum wouldn't be returning for one last turn as Lex Luthor before the upcoming series finale airs and everything comes to an end. Well, now it turns out that the earlier report — which came from an unnamed "knowledgeable source" at EW — is just not true.

Rosenbaum will indeed be reprising his Lex Luthor role once more, to the delight of the show's fans.

The confirmation comes from showrunners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, who told Deadline, "It feels like the stars are aligning, literally. We couldn't be more excited about having Michael back. And as far as the way he returns … there'll be no doubt about how Lex becomes the great rival in Clark Kent's life. He is the villain of the story." Read More...
