Zack SnyderAll of DC fandom let out a collective gasp when news broke—rather anti-climactically—that Warner Bros. aims to release a “Justice League” movie as soon as 2013.

The forecast came courtesy of studio boss Jeff Robinov during an interview for an LA Times profile, while the comic news blogosphere—currently juggling updates on Zack Snyder’s “Superman: Man of Steel” and Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight Rises”—speculated about the versions of the icons filling the future league’s ranks.

Speaking to HeyUGuys during the UK premiere of his film “Sucker Punch,” Snyder clarified where his “Man Of Steel” might fit within a future “Justice League." Read More...

Updates were sparse the last few years, but in a flurry of activity this month the project received a US release date, a new trailer, and a snazzy new poster featuring star Brandon Routh as Dylan Dog.

The long-awaited film is also headed to WonderCon this weekend in San Francisco, where director Kevin Munroe ("TMNT") and Routh's co-star, Sam Huntington, will premiere some brand new footage from the film.

Oh, and did we mention that we have some new, exclusive images from "Dead of Night" to whet your appetite for this weekend's "Dylan Dog" debut? Well, we do! Read More...

Paul Giamatti - Rhino

Over the years, actor Paul Giamatti has racked up prestige points and solidified his position as a thespian at the height of his craft. Certainly, the actor is in a position within the industry to make demands.

As it turns out, the “Sideways” and “American Splendor” star would like nothing more than to be a part of the “Spider-Man” franchise’s developing reboot — but not just any part. Giamatti sees himself as The Rhino. Read More...

Amy AdamsIt was just this past week that we learned Amy Adams would star as Lois Lane in the Superman reboot “Man of Steel.” Though the movie won’t be out until next year, Adams is already happy to talk about her iconic character.

The Los Angeles Times’ Hero Complex reported what the actress said while attending CinemaCon at Caesar’s Palace.

“[W]hat I love about Lois Lane is that she’s been very consistently strong, successful, independent,” Adams said. “I’m very attracted to that.” Read More...

DollhouseThis week featured the arrival of Dark Horse Comics' "Dollhouse: Epitaphs" comic book on shelves, returning fans to the world of Joss Whedon's over-too-soon television series in a one-shot comic written by Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen. However, as Dark Horse editor Scott Allie told MTV News earlier this year, the return to the dollhouse doesn't end there.

"Epitaphs" will be followed by a five-issue miniseries that kicks off in July, and MTV Splash Page is proud to bring you the exclusive announcement of the series' creative team, and an early peek at some of the issues' covers. So, without further ado, please join us in welcoming Andrew Chambliss back to the "Dollhouse" universe!

A story editor and writer on more than half of the "Dollhouse" episodes (including "Epitaph One" and "Epitaph Two"), Chambliss currently serves as Executive Story Editor on the hit series "The Vampire Diaries" (as well as a story editor for "Spartacus: Blood and Sand"). He'll team up with "Dollhouse: Epitaphs" artist Cliff Richards for the five-issue "Dollhouse" miniseries, and we made sure to pick his brain about returning to the body-swapping sci-fi world in our exclusive interview. Mad MenComics readers don't like waiting on delayed books and creators seem to feel the same way about new "Mad Men" episodes this week. Grumblings over deal disputes and arguments that could push Season 5 into 2012 continued today, as both Ted Naifeh and Dennis Calero voiced pessimism about the show's future.

In other topics, Brian Michael Bendis used multiple exclamation marks expressing his feelings about the "Powers" TV pilot. Just don't expect to see him discussing Katee Sackhoff's reported role in public anytime soon. Check out what he will say, along with Gail Simone's take on the state of Thor comics, bewildered praise for "Funky Winkerbean" and Ryan Ottley's advice to artists who want to set fire to their artwork like he did.

These days Margot Kidder lives in a small Montana town of 6,000 people, spending her days as a political activist and a grandmother, far from the hubbub of her former life in Hollywood and her portrayal of the love interest of the most iconic superhero on earth.

But every so often her old career as Lois Lane pops up in the news, as happened earlier this week when Amy Adams was cast as Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's "Superman" reboot.

When MTV News spoke to Kidder about the casting, she explained what it takes to be a great on-screen Lois, and expressed some serious jealousy that she won't get to be carried up, up and away in Henry Cavill's arms. Read More...

Arnold SchwarzeneggerBy Gil Kaufman

FROM MTV NEWS: It sounded like an April Fool's gag that came a few days early: Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger would follow up his two terms as the state's boss with an animated series penned by comic legend Stan Lee in which he plays a, yes, crime-fighting ex-governor.

But if you pick up Friday's issue of Entertainment Weekly, you will see that it's no joke. The cover features an image of a buff cartoon Arnold as "The Governator."

"When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about 'the Governator,' I thought the word was so cool," Schwarzenegger, 63, told the magazine. "The word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the 'True Lies' ..."
