Way back in September 2009, we suggested that Dark Horse Comics' award-winning comic book series "Beasts of Burden" would make a great big-screen adventure. It looks like our recommendation found its way to the right people, because the celebrated series is indeed getting the adaptation treatment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Shrek" and "Chronicles of Narnia" director Andrew Adamson will produce a CG-animated feature based on the series, which follows a group of dogs and cats who fight supernatural threats around the small community of Burden Hill. The Eisner-winning series was created by Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson.
The CG animation for "Beasts of Burden" will be created by Reel FX, which specializes in CG and live-action hybrid projects. Read More...
