It can be difficult to get real news on “The Dark Knight Rises” because of director Christopher Nolan’s secrecy with his projects. Even the actors can be in the dark about certain aspects of the filming, says Tom Hardy — though he may know more than other actors.
Hardy, who plays Bane, sat down for an interview with French outlet Allocine. The actual interview was conducted in English, with French subtitles, so check it out:
“I'm a bit naughty, actually; I like to look at everything!” he said. “Even though people say don't read everything, I like to read everything, so I'm aware of what's going on."
"I know less about the project that I’m filming with that man because Chris Nolan doesn't tell you anything, so I don't know who I'm playing, or what I'm doing, until the morning that I'm working!" he went on with some humor.
Still, it seems he has a general idea of what’s going on.
“Everything is subject to change with Chris Nolan, but on the whole, yeah, I know which information is true and false,” he said.
