"The Dark Knight" won't rise again for another year still, but it's never too early for a first look at Batman's war on crime.
To that end, it looks like we'll be catching an early glimpse at "The Dark Knight Rises" in just a few short days. Our friends at Superhero Hype have received a tip that Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie will debut its first teaser trailer (and a teaser poster) to coincide with the theatrical release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" this coming Friday.
The teaser will reportedly clock in at a minute and 33 seconds, which is a nice amount of time to spend with the Caped Crusader as he prepares for his next journey through the streets of Gotham City. As an added bonus, the Superhero Hype gang notes that trailers for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" and "Happy Feet Two" are potentially hitting alongside the much awaited "Harry Potter" finale as well.
So, what can we expect to see in the first teaser for "The Dark Knight Rises," assuming that it really is just days away from dropping? Based on previously released teaser images, it feels safe to bet that we'll get at least a quick look at Tom Hardy as Bane. It's also a good time to cross those fingers for a Josh Pence as young Ra's Al Ghul appearance, as well as a first glimpse at Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle in full-on Catwoman mode.
Sure, nothing's official yet, but this is exciting stuff all the same. We'll keep you posted as soon as we hear more.
