Pittsburgh has it going on. Some interesting photos from the city where much of “The Dark Knight Rises” is being filmed have surfaced, and there’s word that the movie needs extras there as well.
Superhero Hype has posted two photos that show the Batmobile, the Batpod and the Gotham Police SWAT truck. You can get the best views of the Batmobile and the SWAT trunk because the Batpod is partially covered.

For those of you in the Pittsburgh area (or if you have the funds/free time to get to the city), York Dispatch is reporting more extras are needed on August 6. Thousands of extras are needed — enough to fill a football stadium, in fact. The Heinz Field Stadium.
In the movie there will be a part where the Gotham Rogues play against the Rapid City Monuments, and a stadium of extras is needed to play fans. Anyone over the age of fourteen may be an extra, but if you’re fourteen through seventeen, you must be accompanied by an adult.
There is a chance filming for this will be rescheduled, if, say, it rains. However, right now the plan is to film it from 7 in the morning to 7 in the evening.
