With just over a month until "Conan the Barbarian" hits theaters, the marketing for the latest incarnation of Robert E. Howard's character is in full swing. Just last week a character-filled poster hit the web that highlighted some of the actors we're most excited to see in the flick (hello there, Stephen Lang and Rose McGowan), and now an action-packed TV spot has followed in its wake.

Our favorite Cimmerian continues to hack and slash his way to glory in this latest video sneak peek (coming at us from Latino Review) that contains much of the footage we saw back in May's trailer. But with only 45 seconds to convince us why this should be the summer action flick we spend our $15 to see in 3D, the action and intensity of the movie has definitely been amped up.

Christian SlaterSylvester Stallone’s new movie may not have a name yet, but the actors are piling on.

According to Variety, Christian Slater, Holt McCallany and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje have joined the cast. The movie is based on the comic book “Bullet to the Head,” though it seems the film will end up with a different title. The story is about a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) who helps a police officer kill the people who killed their partners.

Slater will play a handler and McCallany will play another police officer. It sounds as if Akinnuoye-Agbaje will have the juiciest role, because he gets to play the villain. His character will be taking advantage of the most poverty-stricken parts of New Orleans that have been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

Jason StathamIf there's one thing that heavy movie-watching Internet users cared about on the Internet yesterday, it was Netflix's announcement that they would be overhauling their payment and service plan models. Costs may go down or up, depending on what your habits are, and Brian Denham and Stephen Colbert expressed their own unique frustrations regarding the changes.

Matt Fraction, meanwhile, experienced some all-caps excitement talking about his hopes for Jason Statham in "Crank 3." You may feel similar adrenaline levels when you see Duncan Fegredo's Hellboy commission that he shared this morning. There's a link below, along with a couple of Google+ assessments and Hellboy drawing advice from none other than Chris Burnham.

FROM MTV MULTIPLAYER: The Riddler's role in "Arkham Aslym" was pretty limited. Sure, he left a bunch of riddles scattered about the island, but apart from a few taunting audio clips, you never actually interacted with the bequestionmarked gentleman in green. That's set to change with "Batman: Arkham City," which offers a much more robust Riddler experience, as evidenced by this new trailer.

Riddler trophies are still hidden around Gotham City as they were in the first game, but collecting them nets you more than just an experience bonus. As you gather more of them, you'll unlock full-on Riddler challenge rooms. These rooms, scattered throughout the city, are generally trap-filled and feature hostages in distress which Batman needs to save.

oldboyBeing imprisoned is hard, and that’s even more true when you don’t know what you’ve been imprisoned for. So goes the story of “Oldboy,” which is going to be made into a feature film with Spike Lee directing.

Mandate Pictures announced the news in a press release, stating that the script has been written by Mark Protosevich, who will also co-produce the movie. Doug Davison and Roy Lee (“The Grudge”) have also been tapped to produce, and Mandate President Nathan Kahane is all set to be executive producer.

Kahane already sounds pleased with what’s going on. "It's a great honor to put this special project into the hands of such a gifted writer and iconic director," he said of Spike Lee's attachment to the film.

Walking DeadAlthough we won't see new episodes of "The Walking Dead" for another few months, the cast and crew are hard at work in Atlanta, making the post-apocalyptic zombie thing happen. We've seen a little bit of their bloody handiwork already, from Robert Kirkman's behind-the-scenes video blog to the first official image from the new season. But forget what we know — what have the people involved with "Walking Dead" taken away from their latest volley with the undead?

"What we discovered is that when you suddenly find yourself a member of a very small tribe who can't wander very far, the notions of public and private change," director Gwyneth Horder-Payton, who directed the first episode of the new "Walking Dead" season, told AMC of the lessons she's learned on the set of the survival horror series.

"People have to give moments of privacy to people even though they're sitting five feet away," she elaborated. "So you have Lori and Rick who want to have a private moment, but can't walk away so they have a private moment within a group."
