"The Dark Knight Rises," and so does a new look at the villainous Bane!
We've already gotten our first look at "Inception" star Tom Hardy as the man who broke the bat in Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie, but now we're seeing him in broad daylight for the very first time thanks to some new set photos that surfaced online over the weekend.
The photos originate from the film's ongoing shoot in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which director Nolan and leading man Christian Bale spoke about at length last week. We were promised a snowy shoot for the streets of Gotham City, and they certainly delivered — but the detailed look at Bane, among some other shots, is an unexpected but welcome treat to kick the week off right.
Speaking of those "other shots," you can see a whole bunch of them for yourself in our "Dark Knight Rises" set photo gallery, but here's the obligatory spoiler warning for you would-be purists out there… from this blogger's point of view, you're likely to connect more than a few dots together about where the final round of Nolan's Batman trilogy is headed, and not just based on the Bane photos. Consider yourself warned.
What do you think of the new look at Bane? Impressive? Disappointing? Break the latest Batman photos in half in the comments section and on Twitter!
