We have more photos from "The Avengers” sets hitting the internet this week, but we can’t always tell you what we’re looking at. It seems all we can have is a world of speculation until the movie finally reaches theaters, or more official details start to leak out.
For starters, Superhero Hype has posted a possibly spoilerific photo of a . . . well, that’s a good question. What the heck is that?

It looks as if it could be an alien spacecraft, and we have spoken about aliens appearing in “The Avengers” before. Could it be the Skrulls, those aliens who have wreaked havoc throughout the Marvel Comics universe time and time again? Then again, we also know Loki is involved, so maybe this object has something to do with Asgard. When you’re working with mythology, you can pretty much do what you want.
Speaking of Loki, we have some pictures and short videos of Tom Hiddleston in his full-out gear. Over at Spinoff Online, you can see the Norse god walking around and talking. You can’t ever actually hear what he’s saying in the videos, but you do get a good look at his costume. If anyone besides Loki dressed up like this, I don’t think they’d be able to pull it off.
Toward the end of the second video, we do get some action. There are people running, and apparently screaming, with Loki stalking after them. Evidently, though we don’t see it in these videos, Loki has come down to earth and meets up with Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man. What, no Thor?
