Man of SteelThe "Man of Steel" is up in the sky and in the middle of production already (as previously released set photos and videos of Amy Adams' redheaded Lois Lane have already revealed), and now, we might know exactly what filming is all about.

A casting call for Vancouver filming of "Man of Steel" has leaked online over at Superman Homepage, along with what might be the official plot description for Zack Snyder's Superman movie.

When reached for comment, representatives at Warner Bros. would neither confirm nor deny the authenticity of the synopsis, so take that for what you will. But you can read the alleged "Man of Steel" plot description for yourself after the jump!

The Dark Knight RisesTumblers are all the rage these days in Gotham City. You know this already, of course, unless you've been living in a hole for the past two weeks, or furiously avoiding all things having to do with "The Dark Knight Rises" — and in that case, you should probably stop reading right around now.

Numerous "Dark Knight Rises" set photos and videos have shown Tumblers in their traditional non-black camouflage strolling along the Pittsburgh set of Christopher Nolan's final Batman movie, with what looks to be the newly arrived Batwing in hot pursuit. There's little doubt that the Caped Crusader is going to get the better of whoever's behind the wheel of the veritable tank, but what exactly can the Batwing do to a Tumbler?

Well, thanks to some new set photos (courtesy of Superhero Hype), we may have an idea. Once again, potential spoilers lurk ahead.

Emma StoneOne of the most iconic moments of the first “Spider-Man” film was the upside-down kiss between Spidey and Mary Jane Watson – it was even referenced on "The O.C.," which in the early 2000s, believe it or not, was kind of a big deal.

But while Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy and Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker will definitely be locking lips in next summer’s “The Amazing Spider-Man,” don’t expect a simple throwback to 2002.

In an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, the star of “The Help” answered questions about whether we’d see a repeat of the legendary smooch.

Harry PotterDC Comics isn't just trying to reach out to new readers in comics shops this year. The new trailer for their company-wide "New 52" reboot is going to be shown on TV and in movie theaters in order to appeal to wider masses. That strategy received some support in the Twitter-stream last night, though J.M. DeMatteis thought it looked dark, and Gail Simone called for rougher language.

It was a good night for sketches, too, as Phil Jimenez posted a Wonder Woman piece he made, and Cameron Stewart gave Batman a go using an iPad. Gaze upon their art and learn a thing or two about being British from Warren Ellis after the jump.

Those tweets and more ranked atop the Twitter Report for August 17, 2011.

BladeIt was the summer of 1998. Bill Clinton was in the White House, Korn was on the jukebox and “Blade” hit theaters on August 21. Since then, however, the movie’s star, Wesley Snipes, has had kind of a hard time, mostly due to the United States government’s crazy expectation that the actor, you know, pay some taxes every once in a while.

Even though he’s currently serving a prison sentence, however, Snipes is keeping his name out there, and recently spoke to IGN UK about returning to his most famous role one day.

“It would be nice to fulfill some of the really cool plans we had for Blade, but didn’t get the chance to go live with,” the actor admitted.

Wonder WomanNicolas Winding Refn has been talking about his desire to direct a “Wonder Woman” movie since back when putting Megan Fox in the role sounded like a reasonable idea (that’d be last summer for those of you keeping track). But now, the director of “Bronson” and the upcoming “Drive” claims that the film might actually happen.

Following a London screening of “Drive,” Refn took to the floor to answer questions, and fortunately, The Playlist was there to report back with some of the highlights. During the Q&A, the Danish director spoke about the possibility of “Wonder Woman,” and even named an actress he’d like to cast in the lead.

“I would love to make ‘Wonder Woman.’ And I also think that Christina Hendricks would be the perfect Wonder Woman, but Warner Bros. haven’t called yet,” he explained. “But I’m getting closer with ‘Logan’s Run.’ I think someone said to me in a meeting that if I get ‘Logan’s Run’ right, then I’ll get ‘Wonder Woman’.”

It's been about a month since we got a slew of upcoming project updates from Robert Rodriguez at Comic-Con, in addition to a VIP tour of the excellent Frank Franzetta art exhibit, so now that Rodriguez is making the rounds doing press for "Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World," we have another opportunity to check-in on his "Sin City 2" progress.

"We're still working on the script for "Sin City 2,"" Rodriguez told MTV News. "I'm excited about that, I know a lot of people are always on the look out for it, the time is finally coming. We've been telling everybody that we're going to shoot this year, so we actually have to shoot this year," he added when asked about the production's official start date.

Rodriguez had mentioned previously that he didn't foresee a problem getting stars to sign on for the sequel, just the matter of finding roles to accommodate them.

Captain AmericaTwenty-first century, say hello to the new and improved Captain America.

The first photos of Chris Evans in full costume on the Cleveland set of "The Avengers" hit the web today, and the new suit is definitely a major improvement from the one Evans wore in this summer's "Captain America: The First Avenger." Gone are his helmet's chinstrap and the array of gadgets strapped to his chest. "The Avengers" suit is sleeker in every way and, based on Cap's alliance with Tony Stark, probably a lot more technologically advanced as well.

But there are a couple more nuggets to be gleaned from this photo as well.
