Amy AdamsToday, in Candid Images of Actors on the Set of Superhero Movies, we present to you... Amy Adams as Lois Lane in “Man of Steel.” There’s no costume to nitpick to death here, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still scrutinize, as the actress appears to be retaining her trademark strawberry blonde locks.

The photos themselves can be found over at Superhero Hype and reveal Adams portraying the traditionally brunette reporter as a redhead. A scene of Lois at a gas station shows that the actress won’t be wearing a dark wig, and since we’re guessing no one’s lost their mind and decided to turn her hair dark courtesy of post-production CGI, it looks like we’re in the market for a redheaded Lois.

Christian Bale's incarnation of Batman had hardly been confined to the gritty streets of Gotham City in "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight." His Caped Crusader perched high atop skyscrapers, spun aerial pirouettes through the night sky with a pair of retractable wings, and plucked a corrupt businessman into the air thanks to some nifty black-ops technology and a white cargo plane.

But never before has Bale's hero had his very own aircraft, a super-slick Batwing perhaps to park in the Batcave next to his Batpod, which resides within his Batmobile. That's about to change, as photos from the Pittsburgh set of "The Dark Knight Rises" make clear. Director Christopher Nolan has given the craft an entirely new spin, updating what was once an undeniably hokey comic-book creation into the latest, greatest way for Batman to shoot through the air and bust bad-guy butt. Here's a look at the aircraft's evolution.

Sgt RockShould hitting 600 home runs qualify you for a role in the new Sgt. Rock movie? It's a good enough reason as far as Phil Hester is concerned. He proposed giving Jim Thome a shot at the part of Bulldozer if everything finally comes together on the project.

Elsewhere, Brian Michael Bendis has obviously been keeping an eye on "The Dark Knight Rises." He compared it to what he saw on the the "Powers" TV show set, which he said also got a little crazy. More on why, Jim Lee's late hours leading up to the DC Comics reboot and a story of Juggalo harassment made the days list of retweets.

The DudeWhen Jeff Bridges says that "R.I.P.D." is going to be "really out there," you know the movie will be a special brand of crazy.

Chatting with The Los Angeles Times, Bridges discussed how his excitement for the comic book adaptation has grown since seeing the film's concept artwork. The "Tron" star also said he is glad to work with Ryan Reynolds, who he called "a good guy." But Bridges didn't stop talking about was how different the movie's premise is.

"It’s going to be fun and strange," he said. "We’re a couple of dead cops looking for dead people who are pretending to be alive."

The Walking Dead"The Walking Dead" has seen brighter days, to say the least.

Already tackling bleak subject matter, the AMC zombie series is suffering through some serious behind-the-scenes issues, including the reported firing of Frank Darabont and subsequent concerns from cast and crew members. You can read all about those difficulties in this troubling piece from The Hollywood Reporter.

In light of those allegations, it's not easy to remain optimistic about the zombie epic, but there are still reasons to get excited for season two… like the prospect of Andrea (Laurie Holden) finally embracing her inner badass, for example, and the promise of an explosive confrontation between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies).

Bradley CooperIf you were one of the many fans confused and disappointed by Bradley Cooper's possible casting in "The Crow," you can breathe a sigh of relief: the "Hangover" actor has fled the coop.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Cooper, previously attached for the lead role in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's adaptation of the James O'Barr graphic novel, has now departed "The Crow" due to scheduling conflicts.

Ironically enough, it's his upcoming "Paradise Lost" adaptation with original "Crow" director Alex Proyas that's reportedly keeping him from starring in the comic book movie.

FROM MTV MULTIPLAYER: At last count, I believe there are about 800 supervillains lined-up for "Batman: Arkham City." OK, maybe there's not that many, but it seems like we're seeing new footage of a different Gotham ne'er-do-well every couple of weeks. Not that I'm complaining; Rocksteady has consistently impressed the hell out of me with each character reveal. Today's trailer is no exception, as Rocksteady shows off a particularly excellent looking Mr. Freeze.

VampiresNow that Texas Gov. Rick Perry is all in for the Republican presidential nomination race, we'll surely be seeing his name a lot more frequently in the feed. Joe Hill requested a different type of GOP debate between Perry and Mitt Romany last night, while Jonathan Hickman was stuck on rules that vampire stories need to adhere to.

It was a great weekend for artwork, though. Joshua Luna teased his next project, and Mike Norton tweeted some sketches he made at Wizard World Chicago. Their work, a truly awesome Dazzler/Psylocke piece by Janet Lee and news of an unusual birthday present made the list of tweets that brightened our Monday morning.

ifans"The Amazing Spider-Man" doesn't swing into theaters until next summer, but to give you some idea of what to expect, Rhys Ifans -- who plays bad guy Dr. Curt Connors (better known as Spidey's reptilian nemesis, The Lizard) -- is speaking out about his character and his take on the overall film.

“Spider-Man is a working-class hero," the actor told Hero Complex in a new interview. "He’s an everyman. And I think Marc [Webb] as a director and Andrew [Garfield] in his performances [as Spider-Man] are doing special — we’re reclaiming the poetry of the hero and of the story.”
