At the "Marvel's The Avengers" panel held at New York Comic Con over the weekend, studio head Kevin Feige used the phrase "phase two" in relation to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to Feige, the upcoming "Iron Man 3" will be "the first of what we sort of refer to as phase two of this … saga that will culminate, God willing, in 'Avengers 2.'"
Not that I think many people are complaining about a second phase of Marvel movies that lead to another "Avengers," but it does make you pause and wonder… what exactly is phase two? What, and who, does it entail?
Read some of our guesses beyond the break.

There are plenty of questions about the characters involved in "The Dark Knight Rises." Is Marion Cotillard actually playing Talia Al Ghul? Is Joseph Gordon-Levitt secretly Robin, or perhaps the Riddler? Just who will Juno Temple play in the film? And will Cillian Murphy make his third appearance as the Scarecrow in the final Christopher Nolan Batman movie?
The folks over at BBC Radio 5 Live tried very hard to get an answer to the last of those questions when they interviewed Murphy about his upcoming flick, "In Time." The Irish actor hedged all their prying questions, but the big smile on his face and very careful wording of his answers leads this writer to believe that Murphy is definitely hiding something.

"The Adventures of Tintin" is just two months away from bursting onto screens nationwide — though surely you're already aware of its impending release, what with the seemingly endless flow of "Tintin" trailers and photos lurking about recently.
Today is no different, as a brand new trailer for the Steven Spielberg-directed and Peter Jackson-produced action adventure has arrived online, courtesy of Apple.

And this, my friends, is what we call a monstrous success.
It should come as no shock to hear that "The Walking Dead's" second season premiere on Sunday night (October 16) was huge. After all, the comic book adaptation arrived on AMC almost a full year ago to a massive audience of 5.3 million viewers, a number that got as high as 6 million viewers by the season one finale. With behind-the-scenes difficulties like budget cuts and Frank Darabont's departure looming, not to mention so much time passing between seasons, how on Earth could "Walking Dead" top its previous numbers?
Who knows how, but they did it: the "Walking Dead" season two premiere obliterated its own previous record with 7.3 million viewers on Sunday evening, making it the most watched drama in the history of cable television.

Now that we've finally officially seen Mark Ruffalo's version of the Hulk in the first trailer for "The Avengers," it's time to get to know a little more about the green guy.
The "never before seen" footage from this weekend's New York Comic-Con centered around Black Widow, Bruce Banner and his Avengers recruitment. We saw the strides Banner has made to control his temper, but—as we know from the trailer—things aren't going to stay that way for long.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson doesn’t just get to be cool in movies like “Thor” and "The Avengers." Marvel is also giving him his own little one-shots.
The latest release is called “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor’s Hammer,” a title that's riffing on the musical and movie “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” It will be available as an extra on the Blu-ray of “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
We previously showed you a preview, but now the whole clip is available.

Try as it might, it seems that "The Crow" simply cannot fly.
Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, recently pegged to direct a new film version of "The Crow," has stepped away from the project. Twitch Film broke the news on Friday, reporting that Fresnadillo will refocus his efforts on rebooting "The Highlander" for Summit Entertainment.

There's been so much back and forth regarding whether a sequel to 2010's superhero action-comedy "Kick-Ass" would happen that it's hard to remember where it stands. The creator of the comics, Mark Millar, has stood by his conviction that a sequel to the film would happen and is currently working on a second book, but after stars Aaron Johnson and Lyndsy Fonseca claimed that a sequel probably wouldn't come to fruition, things seemed as grim as they could be. That is until screenwriter Jane Goldman told Absolute Radio that a sequel "wasn't in the works."
But all is not lost, "Kick-Ass" fans. Hit Girl herself, Chloe Moretz, recently told MTV News at the Scream Awards that some "Kick-Ass 2" news was imminent and seemed genuinely excited to share some hints.

The long wait is finally over: "The Walking Dead" returned tonight (October 16) for its second season on television. Despite the tremendous attention focused on original showrunner Frank Darabont's departure earlier this summer, it feels safe to say that based on this opening number, "Dead" is just as good as it ever was.
Hit the jump to chew on everything we loved about the season premiere. Spoilers ahead!
