I'm not sure what is more straining on my eyeballs, the new poster for "Men in Black 3" or a neuralyzer shot from point blank range.
Over the holiday weekend, Collider posted a snap shot one of their readers took at a theater for the third film in the sci-fi comedy series. The description on the site says that the poster is of Tommy Lee Jone's Agent K, but even if I look at the picture as long as I physically can, I still can't for the life of me distinguish the picture as anything beyond vaguely human.
Check it out after the jump.
The poster is made up of tiny "MIB3" logos, coming together to form a face. While admittedly cool, the image falls into the category of sensory overload and may be too much to look at for an extended period of time.
The choice of putting Tommy Lee Jones front and center for the film's first marketing display took many by surprise since the well-known story line of "MIB3" puts Jones in the back seat for most of the action. The majority of the film takes place in the past with Will Smith's Agent J working with young K, played by series-newcomer Josh Brolin.
The film will finally hit theater this May after a lengthy and troubled production, that included a hiatus to finish work on the script.
"Men in Black 3" opens in 3D on May 25, 2012.
