Filling the animal hide boots of Arnold Schwarzenegger is no small feat, and to prove you're up to the task means going the extra mile. Sometimes the extra mile means suiting up in leather clothing and chopping at some house plants.

Jason Momoa did just that and then some when auditioning for "Conan the Barbarian." This exclusive behind the scenes look from the Blu-ray -- available in stores on November 22 -- shows Momoa's original audition tape, reading for the part.

Michael Fassbender isn’t the only actor who wants to see more Professor X in a potential “X-Men: First Class” sequel.

Director Matthew Vaughn’s vintage view of our beloved mutants left off with Charles Xavier paralyzed and betrayed at the hands of his dearest friend and ally Erik Lehnsherr, aka Magneto. If that doesn’t lock and load a high-energy sequel under the same creative team, we don’t know what would. Moving at an astonishing speed, however, has never been the mutant power of Hollywood business, and there’s still plenty of time for players to peruse their wishes for the universe-expanding sequel.

In an interview with Collider, James McAvoy shared his hopes for Charles—yet to take the identity of Professor X—within a potential sequel to “X-Men: First Class.” When asked if he had heard anything about a “First Class” sequel, and where he might like to see the story go, the actor expressed a personal investment in seeing the other side of Xavier’s most traumatic experience.

Now that we know who won't be starring as Tetsuo in "Akira" – namely, actor Ezra Miller, who shot down those rumors late last week – it's time to focus on who's still in the running.

Tom Hiddleston is having an awesome year. He stunned the comic book and movie communities as Loki in "Thor," and he'll once again play the Asgardian mischief-maker in next summer's "Avengers." Looking past his impact on the comics scene, Hiddleston also had a memorable turn in Woody Allen's critically acclaimed "Midnight in Paris," has a big role coming up in Steven Spielberg's "War Horse," among other triumphs.

It's all of these projects and more that earned Hiddleston his place in MTV News' Thankful Week. See what the British actor had to say about his amazing year on screen after the jump.

We’ve been seeing photographs taken from the “Man of Steel” set to show us what Superman and Clark Kent will look like, but we haven’t been so privy to information on how the two will act.

Speaking with the L.A. Times, actor Henry Cavill opened up on getting into the part and his research process.

“I stocked up on source material and buried my head in it for a while,” Cavill said. “I didn’t get a chance to indulge in comics as a kid, which I’m actually quite happy about because as an adult I get to read the best of it. . . And I do enjoy them; as an adult I have retained my sense of wonder and love of stories and fantasy world. I really liked ‘Death of Superman’ and ‘Return of Superman,’ those are my favorite ones, and ‘The New 52‘ is great stuff and ‘Earth One,’ although I know people think that is a mixed bag.”

FX and AMC networks are slugging it out for supremacy in the hip, new drama department. While AMC landed the increasingly popular "Walking Dead" adaptation, FX has set its sights on Brian Michael Bendis' "Powers," hoping the show might make a nice addition to popular programming like "Sons of Anarchy." News of a pilot in production broke a few months ago, but things have fallen silent since.

Now, it seems as though FX is sending the potential show's producers back to the drawing board, ordering the pilot to undergo a re-shoot.

I haven't seen director Jérôme Salle's "The Heir Apparent: Largo Winch," based on the Belgian comic books created by Philippe Francq and Jean Van Hammer, but that fact might change this weekend. "Largo Winch" hits limited theaters and is available on video-on-demand today (November 18), presenting the story of an adventuring orphan who must confront his corporate billionaire father's murder, but not before slugging it out with drug traffickers, assassins and more first.

We've got two exclusive clips from "Largo Winch" to close your week out right. Check them out below, then tune into your VOD platform of choice to watch the full film.

Superman

"Superman," the new iOS game, is the best Superman videogame I have ever played. Now, normally, that might sound like a fairly grandiose statement, and you would be correct in that thinking, if it weren't for the fact that every other Superman game in history has sucked – hard. Going all the way back to his first appearance – on the Atari in 1979 – the Man of Steel has found himself licensed into an endless stream of digital garbage.

Thanks to mobile publisher Chillingo and developer Tiger Games, this marks the very first occasion -- with the exception of ensemble games like "DC Universe Online" -- in my three decades of life that I didn't want to throw a Superman game into a black hole.

While we’re seeing a ton of American comics get made into movies, the idea of an anime or manga getting to the big screen through Hollywood is more of a rarity. That said, things are getting serious with the planned adaptation of “Akira,” and there’s lots of talk about who will be playing whom.

Earlier this week we reported on some of the possible actors and how a number of names are being suggested for the role of Tetsuo. Well, at least now there can be one fewer name on the list: Ezra Miller has said it’s a no-go for him.
